And now they have a working house and are putting on all the finishing touches. And can start moving in. Starting one room at a time.

When I first bought my farm in Oklahoma I stayed in an old oil tank that the bottom had rusted out of. I cut a hole in the side and put gravel down then a cot to sleep on. I stayed there for about 6 months till I got the trailer moved in and the sewer hooked up. I took a shower in Hell Roaring Creek that ran through my property and had about a 4 foot water fall.

local enterprise broadcasting Im sure it is! These “people” do exist! Lol We didn’t build an off-grid home but my husband & i built several traditional homes. They clearly have thought through the process beforehand & it’s a labor of love for the both of them!

Dreams of building off grid might be a dime a dozen but following through with that dream is a whole other thing, well done both of you, you are a couple, a partnership, soul mates, a family. Neither could have achieved the dream without the other, stick together it only gets better!!!!🥰💜🤗 You guys rock!!!!

I absolutely love this relationship between Spencer and Mackenzie! He seems to be the chill, roll with the punches guy, and her, the roll with the punches with a hella sense of humor. I can totally relate. I need the sensible hubs to keep me grounded but I also need my silly, happy go lucky self to break that up sometimes. Being goofy is LIFE! XD It makes for great complementary lives with one another. ;)

It’s so true that when you don’t have the simplest things in life, it really makes you appreciate them once you do! Love the channel!

This is my favorite off grid youtube channel. Two young people who are obviously very much in love and they are pretty funny and entertaining. They don't take themselves too seriously, I dig it.

You two are amazing, I absolutely am in awe of your love for one another and your drive to build this beautiful home! You popped up on my feed when the house was still blue and I must admit I loved that color. Now I started at the beginning so I can actually live through the entire process! I am in love with Bear and the farm animals, plus your daughter and son are adorable!

Today is almost two years since you guys made this video. I find it very interesting seeing the change in everything from then to now. We (the viewers), have progressed along with you, so the changes were gradual, but seeing this shows just how much things have changes. You two (now three), have done so much and came so far... it makes me wonder just what will transpire by the time your daughter is old enough to browse through these videos. 'Life' is presented to us in chapters; this was a previous chapter. What will the future chapters bring...?

Hey y’all from La! My husband & I are jelly! Lol We spent our 30’s building a few houses (no contractor). We are now in our early 50’s & have been married going on 33 yrs. We’re old & tired & wishing we would have channeled that energy & money into an off-grid home-stead. 😂 If you guys can get through this w/your marriage in tact y’all will be just fine. I think that’s evident by now. Btw: our youngest was in a play pen 6 weeks after my c-section during the construction of our 1st home while I worked. He’s 23 yrs old now. I painted the entire 2nd home myself(we built 4). This surely brings bk memories. Hard work no doubt but very rewarding. Good luck on the remainder of work & we look forward to seeing the finished product. Great job!

Learn to appreciate what you have an then the finished project is done you like whoot toot. We did it. I'm doing the same got a piece of land out of fl. Raw land solar power, rain collection and next is a home but living in a RV until then. Then bamboo growing is my plans. Homesteading an living self sufficient lifestyle.
