Check out the FULL FINISHED HOUSE TOUR Here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gH16k8akhJyXlM4.html Hey guys! Creating this video has felt long overdue and it finally seemed like the right time to do so. It took a little longer than I originally anticipated to go through all of the footage, but I am so glad I did! It's crazy to see where we started and where we are today. I just wanted to let you know we'll be back next week with a normal video. Until then, thanks for watching! Love, Kenz

It would greatly benefit all people to know how to maintain and build their own house. I work construction, but know how to plumb and run wire. I can do it all too, it really is a gift. The savings. Honestly, you can do it too, it's just about learning the proper order and process. The rest is just your personal techniques. I've got 15 years of it, plus, at 32, and I'm still learning better ways to do stuff, and learning new things to do as well. Just give it a go, start small.

I knew you would make this video at some point. So many memories. I got hooked near the beginning, not because of the work itself, but because of the two of you. The love and respect and support you have for each other is rare in young people today, and it is so encouraging to watch. Through ups and downs, rain and shine, making and remakings, you two have stayed positive, appreciative, and funny. What character you have, and share. If was fun to watch this again, but my biggest take away is this ... When the munchkins get older, and you watch as a family, this video will show your children what hard work and perseverance truly is, how it is possible to stay positive regardless of circumstances and setbacks, that hard work really does pay off, what is truly valuable in life (love, respect, teamwork - not just "stuff"), and that relationships are so much more valuable than money and material items. You are setting an example of what is important for your children, who will have values instilled in them as they grow, and make them role models for their generation of what "good" is. You are teaching them (and many of us) that with hard work and persistence, you can accomplish whatever you decide you want to do. Since watching you two, I have taken up a couple of projects that I never thought I could accomplish. It is slow going, but I am plugging away and will achieve the goals I have set. And as your journey began and you have continued to share with us, many have seen and learned these lessons along the way, as well. In this day and age, I am not sure whether or not you two are considered "stars", but if you are, I appreciate that you have remained on your course, and stayed humble, real, appreciative of each other and your accomplishments. That speaks volumes about your personalities and your hearts. So, I thank you for allowing me into your lives, and letting me travel your journey with you. I look forward to seeing what the future brings for your family.

Watching this series has been such a joy, not just because of the amazing work they've done on their home, but because of the incredible love, respect, and support that Spenser and Mack have for each other. It's truly rare to see such a positive and supportive relationship, and it's been inspiring to watch. I completely agree that this video will be such a valuable resource for their children as they grow up, and for anyone who watches it, really. The lessons of hard work, perseverance, positivity, and the importance of relationships are so valuable, and it's wonderful to see this family embodying those values so fully. Like you, I've also been inspired by their journey and have taken on some projects of my own that I never thought I could accomplish. Watching Spenser and Mack has been a reminder that anything is possible with hard work and persistence. I also appreciate how humble and down-to-earth this family has remained throughout their journey. They truly are role models, not just for their children, but for all of us who have had the privilege of watching their story unfold. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and for being a fellow viewer of this incredible series. I also look forward to seeing what the future holds for this wonderful family!

This one brought tears to my eyes. I kept thinking about how YOU two built this. A man and woman, with the same life goals and no experience, decided to build their own off grid home and during that time, the woman was pregnant and gave birth twice and hardly paused a stride all along the way. You two did this. All by yourselves (except the insulation). You learned along the way and your sweet family has this beautiful home to continue making many years of happy memories in. Love to you all!

The two of you have made a beautiful home and family. Watching this video brought back so many memories. How many times was Kensi brought to tears of joy as projects were completed and life was made easier with the additions of luxuries that were once considered basics? I know one moment was caught at 14:30 when running water was realized. Watching your family work through this process has been very enjoyable! Thanks for bringing us with you!

First View! I've been following your channel for about 2 years now and I wanted to tell you both your an amazing inspiration! I was in the middle of renovating an 1850's farmhouse in Western New York when I found your channel. You both become my role models; trying new things, having grace when things go wrong, and always keeping love and family first and foremost. Those principals guided me through my own journey to finish my house and move my career forward to become an Analyst at a Fortune 500 Bank in my hometown. Keep up the good work and I'm sure you'll raise your kids right 😁👍🎉

What an accomplishment! What a tribute that your children and grandchildren can watch and admire. Of everyone on KZread, you are the most impressive. To deal with all the heavy stuff just with the two of you, to be able to learn about plumbing, electricity, structural integrity...and let's not forget the drywalling. Just amazing. I often wonder how much you enjoy living in this beautiful house of yours, especially with all the hardships you endured to get here.

I did a 5 year build @ 45 y.o. (on grid), 95 to 2000, but remote. A solo build but I really wished I would of had a second pair of hands. Beautiful. Peace and love to you.
