Where to Insert Your Crochet Hook for Different Stitches

There are a lot of “holes” in crochet stitches. Because of this, it can sometimes be hard to know where to insert your hook to put the next stitch. Knowing where to insert your hook is vital knowledge to have for EVERY crochet project you complete!
In this video I will review where to insert your hook when you are working the basic crochet stitches; working front or back loop only stitches, and working front and back post stitches.

    I can't seem to see where i have to insert the hook if i turn the work and start on the sides. They don't have the V structure.

    So my pattern asks me to yarn over, insert hook through last worked DC, skip to next chain space, insert hook through first dc but I just dont understand at all what they mean with "through last worked Dc/first DC? where do I put my hook?
