I want to say there is a 30% chance for saddles and weapons to be a blueprint instead of an item.

Very 1st crate i got from easy water was a tier 1 blue drop and it had a flak helm and metal shield bp

An onscreen list would have been very helpful

Ice crates should have snow on them, swamp crates should be mossy, water ones should be rusted(ik tek doesnt really rust easy but game doesnt allways stick to lore)

The Ice cave is the one under blue obi for loot purposes the cave near the icebergs that you can barely walk in is a normal cave for loot purposes. The devs named the loot crates _IceCave_ _cave_ _SwampCave_

Overall good vid, however one correction. Only Flak has a max armor of 496. Riot can go higher though. I have a 540 in my chest. I believe riot has a max of 570

So how does the Lio buff affect all this? Does it cause some kind of rerolls in what gets pulled from each loot table?

Yes it rerolls the loot in the crate. If they haven't patched it you can have someone without the buff pull the loot and leave one thing in like bullets or w/e random loot was in it and then open it with the buff and it will have more loot. The buff also increases the quality but its maxed at 10 so there wont be much of a difference there

@@Nitesurgeon Pretty sure the extra loot is unintended in ASE it was for the quality increase. The yellow ring on drops increases the quality and chance of getting blueprints I want to say it adds 1 extra item as well but that might be wrong

So Rex saddles can only be found in the swamp cave tier 3 (red) or in the ocean drops which have a lot more items. I can't wait for the fishing video. Hoping for some good news on farming Rex saddle BPs.

Yuty saddles are in the Ice cave tier 3. If it helps in the pinned comments there is a chart with all the saddles and crates they are in

You can also get mega saddles from ice cave tier 2

I got a 124 Carcharodontosaurus saddle bp from tier 3 Red Swamp loot crate the other day and it wasn't mentioned to be there in this video.

list is straight from the dev kit at the very beginning of ASA they are on the list for Ice cave loot crates Im not sure if I mentioned it in the video but there is also a loot table that has pretty much every item on it that can be pulled from just about every crate there is less of a chance of getting them though. The devs may also make changes for balancing purposes

Doedicoris is also in the tier three swamp cave. Wonder what else you missed

It isn't missed it s not in the list for the crate If I didnt explain it in the video there is a list of pretty much every item that can be applied to every crate and supply drop. But that is a huge rng pool. I went into the dev kit and looked at the actual lists. You have a higher chance of getting the rex, cachar and so on saddles from teh crate they are listed on. You get 1 to 2 items from the list and a chance at a few more from the list with everything.

They should spawn every 45 minutes to an hour if they have it on timer you might want to try and be in there first then hide.

There is a list that is all crates and drops can pull from that is separate and has almost every item on it. That is why there will be weapons saddles and so on that can be found that are not on the list but there is no guarantee of anything specific that is not on the list. Since the underwater cave crates have a smaller list there will be a higher chance of random items.

@@Gambler557 I want to say it is not but I am not 100% sure. There are certain aspects of the code that are kept hidden and inaccessible. I personally do not fish but I have tribe mates that do and none of them have mentioned anything outside of the list.

There are several loot tables crates pull from. The list in the video is from the table that is specifically for the crate. The other table has almost every item in the game on it and there is a chance to get items from that list as well. That way if a cave is blocked off you still have a chance at getting an item but you have a much higher chance of getting for instance a Carchar saddle bp from the ice cave.

lol ya speed raptors. We were on a primal or fiber craft server messing around while officials were down early on. I spammed 60 levels into speed stepped off a small incline dead raptor lol took to much fall damage

Ice and swamp crates. The loot table is linked in a pinned comment. There is also a chance of getting one from all of the crates as there is a list that can provide 1 to 2 additional items but it pulls from every item in the game so chances are lower and the chance that it is a blueprint from that list is even lower. Your best chances are going to be from ICe and swamp cave loot crates.

Does anyone know if the north-west "ice"-cave count as an ice cave or is this one a "normal" cave ? I mean the one with the Skylord artifact in it and the spiders / onyc.

Ice cave is the one south and barely east of the blue obi Artifact of the skylord cave. Sorry I forget not everyone knows the terms like swamp and Ice cave.

@@CamwayGaming thats not the problem, sometimes the north west cave is called the "small ice cave" because it is in the icy area. But ir guess this cave counts as a "normal" cave, so the loot in ot will not have the same stuff as the original big ice cave.

@@brotherharley9657 Ya it counts as a normal cave. In single player with gcm on, the green gun will show you the names of crates. There are only 4 caves on islands that are not normal cave crate caves. The non cannon maps on the other hand sometimes mix the different style of crates into the same cave.

The hard and EZ underwater caves have the same loot table so anything on the Underwater cave table plus the list of basically every item in the game that is sometimes pulled from for all crates

lol. it was an unofficial fiber craft server. Our servers were down and we were bored so we jumped over and started raiding everyone. Official Servers would randomly drop for hours the first couple weeks.

no not all the blueprints are in the same loot crates on ASE they changed what crates had what for ASA This wiki should have the loot tables for ASE: ark.fandom.com/wiki/Loot_tables

On the list it is listed as Turtle saddle these should be in the Regular cave loot crates so not underwater cave, Ice, or swamp. They can also be found in white drops and Ocean loot crates.

That sucks keep going eventually the rng will give you something good! Got to hit the crates every hour! Use the leoploridon buff for even better loot!
