Nowadays, there are slightly better options in terms of resources. However, in terms of functionality without cryopods, this is the best version I have managed to build. Best regards.

Just started on ASA Official on Xbox yesterday night. As someone that’s been playing since legacy, this gave me so much nostalgia. I started out as a raft tribe way back when (due to convenience & because of pillar spam). I love all of ARK’s expansions from Primitive to Tek, but it’s so much fun getting back to the roots for a while. Leeds still give me a rush of a adrenaline like no other. 😂

The raft works great. I did unfortunately get stuck on a rock and had to disassemble the entire raft. Luckily I was able to break the rock and free the raft. I wish we could pick up the raft once built.

I hope this is helpfull for the followers: 1:30 On PC, you can adjust the foundation level by moving your mouse forward or backward after you fixed it 1:06 all construction materials you need You can add 2 or 3 constructions until the limit of the building number on platform (Raft) in this plan. This is a great raft/trap, I love it. I managed to tame my first Baryonyx with it, didn't go as smooth as you made it look (my fault). I am wondering will this trap work for a Spino? How about a Yutty? I am going to guess it will work for a Yutty, but I figured I would ask.

Hello and welcome to the channel @aaronb183. In this raft, I used all the possible structures it can carry, so adding another floor is not viable. However, I must clarify that this raft was created for the early game when there were no cryopods, so its usefulness is not very significant now. The design is good, but not for living on it. I recommend you look for another design if you want to live on a raft, and remember not to go to deep areas because whales will sink it. Thanks for watching the video.

I built this raft and it was good the only complaint is building it where you drive the Dino entrance for the trap onto the shore. I had a hard time trying to position it as close to the shore as possible

As a day 1 raft ark player, I bought ASA to get back into casual play and wondered if anyone still kept raft ARK alive....I never thought doors could trap like that. Questions - Could you show how flyers are trapped in this? Also, I wonder if you can use one side for all trapping and the other side as a tame storage? Maybe since we can pick up foundations now, could you make a hybrid taming side where we can rearrange it for whatever we are about to try to tame. Also do we have a defense against leachseeds? I was thinking about getting some baryonyx and have follow my raft so they can stun if an alpha or one ever come close.

Hello, the truth is that this raft is just for starting since living a complete life in this new Ark is not possible. This is because the navigation limitation of the raft has been greatly reduced. Soon, I will create a more focused raft to serve as a base for aquatic breeding and a provisional base. In response to your question, in this raft, only the Argentavis trap is integrated because it is the only dino that follows you to be enclosed. Love this build and I'm attempting to build it, however, when I get to 7:11 to place that wall it's giving me an error saying "Can't place stone doorway: This structure is too far away from the platform!" I'm not sure if I've done something wrong, but am pretty sure I'm following the video exactly.

I got that too. I didn’t lower my structures like he did tho. I used the wood foundation fence with pillar so tomorrow I’ll make a second raft then transfer everything on the new one and just try to drop the foundation like him. Just gotta figure out how wasn’t working for me today.

Hello @Tralfeyn, this error can occur because you have more than 2 ceilings beyond the foundations. In this case, the game detects it as if there is no support. Hey, it's me again! I've built the boat and I've used it to catch a few dinos now... but I'm having trouble with the argy, because I'm not exactly sure how the boat is supposed to catch one.

We have the argy chase someone on foot. It paths right under the slanted roof and you open the double door and it will be stuck.

The ceiling at 8:01 won't place on mine, it says it's too far from the platform. I redid the whole ship, and this time the door frame at 7:12 said it was too far from the platform. I like the intricacy of the ship, but having to redo it without knowing if it's gonna snap or not is kinda frustrating.

Hello @gamejedi, sorry for the delay in responding. Honestly, I don't know why this is happening to you, but make sure that the raft doesn't exceed more than 3 ceilings beyond the foundation. If it does, that error might occur. I hope you've resolved it. Greetings.

@@2tosplay I did. I just slapped down all of the ceilings on both sides first and when they all attached I just built the rest of it.

Wouldn't it be easier to just make a 4x8 boat, then enclose the back 4x4 with dino gates? The front 4x4 is a ramp and where you put all your stuff. Now just park the boat on the shore and run whatever you want to tame into the huge pit. tranq em, feed em, drive off (once unconscious they wont' clip anymore) This is the style of boat I lived it for all of A:SE and it doesn't seem like anything would stop that from working in ASA

Can you move the raft while a KO wild dino is on the trap raft? or will they fall out?

@OppaiSensei Hello, sorry for the delay in responding. While it's awake, it can move slowly. When it's asleep, it can fall, but all of this depends on the server lag. So, it's better to leave them where you trapped them. Greetings and welcome.

Anyone else having issues with dinos stepping over the walls? Allos and rexes both just walking over the walls like they’re not there.

A rex walked right back out of the trap abd 2nd time stepped right over the middle. Think it needs to be 2 high for a rex

@harpaxpteso4153 Hello, and sorry for the delay in responding. What you're experiencing is due to server lag. Sometimes, dinos don't detect the wall and pass through. Since this is an issue with ARK, I'm looking for a new way to make the raft more functional and hope to bring it to the channel soon. Greetings.

Hello, I created this boat back when there were no cryopods. Nowadays, there are much better boats for transport or trap purposes. The idea behind this boat was to be able to take out each tamed dino without dismounting. Best regards.

Is there still giant whale that eat your raft in asa ? Alpha ones aswell ?
