Do you recommend going to salon to have it installed for the first couple of times? Or can I do it myself?

If you go to a salon to have it installed it cost me thousands and thousands of dollars. I would just try and do it yourself. Just watch the videos on KZread and take it step by step. It won't be perfect, but the more you do it the better you will become.

What thickness is the base ?

Where do you get the hair system cut for you? Or you cut it yourself?

That’s one thing that I have difficulty with because the salons won’t cut my hair because if they ruined it I guess I could sue them for messing it up, but that’s not what I would do, but obviously some people would. It sucks, but I have family who cuts hair, but I have to get it down when there free and sometimes that’s months down the line that’s my down fall.

How do you go about choosing the color that will match the real one?

What a great question. I will tell you what for myself I color my hair first then color the hair system next because then it's 100% the exact color and matched perfect. The advice I would give you is go lighter to darker if that makes sense. Some hair systems don't allow you to color it from dark to light and it fries it more and makes it last loss longer than it does. Thanks for your question and for watching my video.
