I can relate as well, always wearing a hat, and it definitely hit my self esteem. I have my brothers wedding coming up in a few months where I'll be the best man and I been dreading it... Thanks for your helpful video. I've just started with a clinic but want to try and install the system on my own to keep costs down and also to give me confidence in case I can't get an appointment. or (God forbid) there is another lockdown in the future. I find all the products that are available a bit confusing. I note that some people apply scalp protector, and some people use a product which means the adhesive doesn't stick immediately so they can position the system (?) I suppose you get used to that over time, as with everything. Anyway, I will give it a go soon. One thing: the first fitting didn't go too well for me as the tape at the sides began to come loose. I think it was during the night when I was sleeping. They put some tape at the centre to steady it and that seems to have done the trick. So some people might need that. I found sleeping with it a bit odd for the first few nights as you feel as if it is moving and you are pulling it; but am gradually getting used to it. Again, mastering self maintenance would give me more confidence. Thanks again.

I've heard that you should leave gaps between the tape pieces to allow water to exit the system. Is that a problem you've ever experienced? Great video!

I never heard that before that’s kinda interesting, because if you leave gaps in your tape pieces to me that allows it to lift up easier. The water can exit very easy with the lining of the hair system.

All depends on what I do. Basically every 4 weeks I try and do it, but sometimes before that. I do it when the tape starts to break down.

A little tip…many wig places will have stylists that will cut your system…also call around your local salons and ask if there’s anyone there who will cut a system.

that's such a great question. you might of missed it in the video. the tapes have a max hold of 4 weeks you can push it sometimes, but if you keep up with a clean you can keep it on longer. a deep clean is when you just lift up the top of the hair and take the tape off and replace it with new tapes. anymore questions just feel free to ask anything. thanks for watching !

Nice video, I think it would be more realistic if: 1. The density of the hair on the hair system wasn't so thick 2. The hair system covered a bit of your temples 3. If the hairline wasn't so straight Idk if any of these are fixable, but these are things I notive straight off the bat. That being said, I only notice this because I'm looking for it
