    You are my hero. I still have my hairline, but it is getting very thin overall in a widow's peak, and when I watched one of your videos the other day, I felt a thrill that displaced the dread I've been feeling for years now, just looking forward to inevitably being bald. But seeing you be so casual about it and confident, best way to describe it, you strengthen me and I really appreciate you putting yourself out there. Your vibe is fire bro

    This was very helpful. I was scared to fit it myself as I was worried the positioning would be off. But your technique of positioning it and then bonding the front, then back seems much simpler. I will try it.

    This video is amazing! Ty for posting this! I reinstalled my hair system 2 times with just gluing the system, accidentally having it too far back or too far up and lifting it off, and back and forth and it was a nightmare! Getting my hairs stuck under it as well! Bleh! THIS is legit! Thanks again!

    Thanks for the video! I wish I had watched this before having to toss my UTS unit.. What about if you apply a system that has lace or mono? You can't apply the adhesive to the unit itself then, can you? Also, how long do you use the UTS system for before it starts losing too much hair? I've used the Ghost Bond XL and when I sweat while working out, it seems to make the glue too watery and it gets in the hair fibers, making them clump up and then fall out as I'm trying to fix it..

    Hey man I enjoy your videos a lot , very educational. I have a question if you don't mind. After experimenting with my first system I think what would work best for me is a lace top with poly around it, the Lordhair Infinity seems great. How would you rank this among what you tried? Do you recommend it? Or do you have a preference for full poly now? I have seen your lace-front video and I agree, lace hairlines are too much work.

  • @michaeljosephghd

    @michaeljosephghd

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hey there! Yes, I’ve tried that model and liked it a lot. For me, the lace is a little too itchy, so I now prefer a full poly unit, but that one is really good too. Just depends on what you like!

    Your hairline is looking amazing! What's your secret to making it look so natural? Are you thinning it out? Adding imperfections to the baseline?

  • @michaeljosephghd

    @michaeljosephghd

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hey thanks! I actually don’t do anything other than trim it. Ever notice the hairline is imperfectly v-looped where some areas are thinner/thicker and some hairs may not come to the edge of the base? I trim it so it’s imperfect but lines up with where the hairs have been placed. That’s it!

    Fantastic video thank you for doing this. Only feedback I will give you is how different the color of your bio hair from your hair system. Have you thought about it? You can maybe get away with it if you ask your barber to shave the bio hair and fade it gradually moving up the grades. Right now in the vid it looks a little off. Please take this critique from a place of love brother.

But I roll Jiu jitsu about 3x a week… is Jiu jitsu and hair systems something that could go together if I was to replace the system every couple weeks like you do? Or is Jiu jitsu and hair systems something that just wouldn’t go together?

  • @michaeljosephghd

    @michaeljosephghd

    2 жыл бұрын

    That’s a tough question. From what I (think) I know of BJJ is that you’re rolling around, getting super sweaty, and even using your head as part of the match. In my mind I’d think that may be a bit too much, but there’s only one real way to find out 😎 If you’re able to get one, try it out in a less intense match then work up, I’d recommend it. If it’s a fresh install you may be just fine, if it’s been on a couple weeks it’ll get slippery I’d imagine.

    Do you think it would be possible to do a physical contact sport with a hair system e.g. boxing, wrestling? Or would that probably be too much for it to handle. I think thats my one thing holding me back personally, I don't mind maintenance or the cost but I don't want to give up the things I love.

    Honestly I don’t know. With the helmet on and off after sweating would be tricky. Wrestling is a maybe too. Unless someone else has anything to say about it, I’d either hold off until wrestling/football is minimal in your life OR not wear during games and matches (maybe wear a du rag or something?).

    You still have to deal with touch ups thru the week. Running to the salon at 7:30 a.m. is not possible. So you need to be able to handle those situations yourself and have the products at home to handle them.

    Thanks for the video brother. I'm thinking of getting one. But all these videos and styles are all the same. The hair is combed back. Would it look natural if I wanted a shaggy look? Like a skater type look? I'm a young guy.. Subbed.

I shaved my head for 15 years just to accept what happened but I have to shave my beard so that I can get my neck, tattooed and I’m thinking about doing this while I don’t have a beard
