Tottenham haven't gone backwards they're 4th and had the same points this time last season. Tottenham fans believe they have gone backwards only because of their relative position to Arsenal. It's Arsenal who have gone forwards. Based on points and table positoin, tottenham are having a normal season by their standards, 4th and trophyless.

All the independence from Mr. Simon Jordan goes away when the subject is Daniel Levy. He doesn't even speak of Mourinho sack just prior to a final that would be the only trophy from Tottenham in 20 years.

Simon Jordan keeps talking about the timing of Conte & Mourinho or maybe it's the timing of Spurs, the players & culture Levy created. Poch's timing was with a young squad/team that was hungry & energetic, Levy never used that timing to build on it. Conte & Mourinho came to spoiled brats that give up eventually.

The only reason Tottenham could/would appeal to ANY elite manager would be that 60k stadium, guaranteed gate receipts, enough to pay an elite manager like Conte his wages. He already knew he wouldn't be winning anything at Tottenham, a club with a non-winning culture, that fails miserably with forward thinking investments. The only reason Antonio Conte, an elite manager with winning credentials and mentality would take a job like Tottenham is simple, for Conte, it was EASY MONEY! 💰🤑💷🪙💲💶💵💸

simon jordan, as much as he talks with so much reason sometimes, is very difficult to listen to when talking about levy. i've never seen a person more in love with levy before.

The question is simply, what does (should) success look like to Spurs fans?
