For me, he was an obnoxious and embarrassing owner who took the club to within minutes of non existence. He chose to let the club go into administration rather than accept outside backing and blames the current owners for his downfall.

Fully agree! He is easily the most charismatic, the most articulate and most enthralling caller on the station! The Pony rant was absolutely outstanding! I heard it live and thought he was easily the funniest and best caller the station has ever had...haha. When Spurs do badly I listen to the station just for him, hoping he is going to come on and I ca then listen to his rants. Very entertaining guy!

Simon Jordan has such class when dealing with spurs fans who produce difficulties such as they do he knows exactly how to get them to bite such professional of a response from him so underrated while being so educated

Tottenham are not a big club. They’re a medium sized club. Not even biggest in their own city. Truth hurts.

The biggest mistake Levy made was managing to turn Tottenham into a huge club internationally when they used to just be the best of the rest. Because they’re now an international club with huge stars/world class players, a top manager and an amazing stadium spurs fans look at them and have high expectations and when that’s not met you get this. Levy should never have built the club/brand to what it is now and should have had spurs fans feel lucky to come 6th.

Ehhh I think it’s a mixture of both Arsenal doing so well this season and the fact that we’re having another season with no trophy. We don’t expect to win the league or the champions league, but if we had beaten Sheffield United we’d have had a quarter final game against Blackburn Rovers with only City and United being our main competition left in the cup, we’d never have had a better chance at winning the tournament.

All I heard from the guy was “I tell you what” not answering the question, very much like a politician 👀

I loathe Daniel Levy. I completely disagree with this line that Levy is not at fault for Sheffield. I don't think any loss this season can be more directly attributed to Levy than Sheffield Utd. We rested our two best players for a cup competition that had opened up very nicely for us to improve our chances of securing top 4 football. The brief from Levy has always been - lurch from one idea to the next in a bid to scrape top 4 because that is what makes us the most money. The brief is never - compete for silverware. The decision to rest those players was a reflection of the board's ambition. The Sheffield Utd game was actually the clearest projection of Daniel Levy's ambitions all season; a systemic indifference towards tangible silverware rotting from the top that creeps right down into the selfish and headless displays of the makeshift front three we saw that day.

Eric Dier is truly one of those players I don’t understand. Hes so bad but somehow still gets called up for England. Still at the club. I just don’t get it. Am an arsenal fan but I’ve never understood the hype around Dier. I understood the hype around Declan Rice coz he was young, but he seems to have hit his ceiling aswell. Dier is just god awful.

Tottenham fans still believe they are top / big 6, my team Leicester have won more Trophies than them since the PL began. There is no doubt in the 50's & 60's Spurs were massive but now? A mate of mine who is a THFC fan said to me that the Whole Club needs a makeover from Owner to Squad Players. No point in criticising Simon Jordan when all he does is voice an opinion, I feel sorry for the fans who have had another frustrating season but it is not SJ's fault.

You can’t blame Levy on poor performances on the pitch & he has employed some excellent coaches/managers with a track record of winning trophies with Mourinho & now Conte. Financially Spurs won’t compete with Chelsea, City or United. It’s not Levy’s fault the players spurs buy don’t perform well enough

I have heard this caller (Matt) a few times on Talk Sport and he is an out and out legend! He is always very passionate, very articulate and none of the presenters can compete with his articulation and charisma! He is a charismatic and enthralling guy!
