I'm currently on a nostalgia trip binging all of the old Linkin Park/Fort Minor songs that I loved as a kid. I never understood how powerful they were back then, I just loved the sound of the music. It's amazing how when you're young, something can have so much impact that you didn't even realize was there until you got older. It's like I'm rediscovering my favorite song from a new perspective.

I dedicate this song to my dad. Yeah... this is exactly how I feel.

My mom loved this song. Which was really important to me. For some reason, I always wanted her to like the things I liked, but she pretty much only listened to country and oldies. I loved Linkin Park and Fort Minor like it was my job, and wanted her to love them, too, but they were pretty far removed from her Conway Twitty and Elvis. But I played this song in the car, and she turned it up and said, "I like this one." It's painful to listen to now that she's gone (heart attack, 2014) but it means so much.

Nissy Rozette I miss him too and I dont think anyone would ever be to come close to his amazing voice. He was and will always be a loving angel. I wish he was still here but honestly knowing how depression can be so bad, losing a very close friend, and battling addiction while going through all of what Life throws at you that I am happy he isn't battling these horrible demons anymore and finally feeling at peace! i feel them.. I was from the military 4 years ago and after i got shot in my shoulders i heard this song in the hospital and i cried... This made me went back home to my family.. I am no longer in the military because i care for my family.. Whenever i see the scar on my shoulder i would still remember the day i got shot and in the hospital when i cried. The scar taught me to never leave my family... whenever i hear this song i feel like i was still in the hospital and i feel like crying much.. Whoever reads this. Please cherish your family, Dont wait until its too late.. Im glad im not too late to come back home... Please come back home..

Very meaningful song, and I feel for those who have their dads or loved ones serving in war-torn regions like Syria, Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Libya, etc.... Not knowing whether their soldiers will return home alive or in a body bag, by the end of the service tenure! :( And I actually never knew that the girl singing the beautiful chorus was Holly Brook Heffermann AKA Skylar Grey... She looks so sweet and nice in the video!
