Big chills. I am feeling deeply called to come to Mexico City but feel super attached to my current home in New Orleans. This video is a beautiful reminder that New Orleans will always be here and it's time for me to take the leap.

Misako, I've been watching your videos for about two years? And I resonate with your spirit. IMO, you are 99% committed to making this change, and what is making the change difficult and pulling at your heart strings is the fact you're going to leave your wonderful friends behind in CDMX. Saying goodbye (even if it's temporary) is so damn hard. The great news is you can come back to CDMX to visit your friends and they can come visit you. We are so fortunate to live in this time when the whole world can be connected 24/7. You've already proven you can make the change to move to another country and THRIVE. Like you said, you carved out a life for yourself in CDMX for 3 1/2 years. You can do this, and if it's not right - you'll know and you can always move back. My favorite part of this video was when you mentioned that the world is full of wonderful people. It is so comforting to be reminded of this fact. Buena Suerte, Amiga !!

I feel you! I'm moving from Querétaro to Mérida this summer and god, it's scary! I've moved before but change still gets on my nerves because well... we're humans! It's our natural instinct to fear But I'm still excited to start this new chapter on life I took a year to say goodbye to this city that I've lived in for almost 5 years now. Knowing what you leave behind is key to give it a proper closure to be ready for a new life! What gives me peace is that at the end what I leave behind is going to make room for new places, people, experiences and a new me!!! And what a blessing it is to know yourself and a little bit of a world you didn't know. Cheers for this new chapter and at the end you know that you'll always be welcomed in Mexico, bon voyage!

Dear Niece: Going to Japan will allow you to connect to your Japanese roots. Your life will be enriched knowing where part of you comes from. Same thing with your dad's side in Africa. Go forth and conquer, if only for a few months. Enjoy the journey.

Your videos resonate so much. I'm going back and forth with moving out of the US again-permanently this time. I've never felt at home in this country although I was born here. Currently deciding on someplace warm, near the ocean. I need year round sun, sand and fresh, healthy food and most of all-balance. Thank you Misako!!

How do people not regret things and have so much faith in that things are always meant to happen the way they do, I regret so much 😂 I believe you moving should be worth it but all the other decisions in life?😮😮 Would make me a lot happier to have faith instead of regrets so I hope y'all don't feel this way ❤😂

This is a great question! Thank you for asking it!!! When I look back on my life and all my experiences, I can clearly see that (even when things were challenging and felt uncomfortable) I have always made it to the other side AND am a stronger person because of whatever that challenge was. Even if you realize something isn't for you, there's nothing to regret about challenging yourself and growing, right?

😬 Please research others who have moved to Japan ... You have made an amazing life in Mexico ... The Japanese people are emotionally discounted, friendships with basic Japanese will be hard & sad too say, they are not very welcoming ... I can recommend KZreadrs who have made that move... 💚 Stay, spend two weeks in Japan in Tokyo and the countryside ( You got a amazing loving black region in Mexico you need to visit )
