They could of had made a citizen's arrest and brought him to court after beating the shit out of him if they somehow believed the accusation was true. During that era, they knew full well how a person of color will likely be sentenced to prison. Yet, they had chosen unrelenting violence and murder instead. They and like many racists, are just looking for any excuse to fulfill what was already in their hearts. Vigilante justice without proof because Emmett's innocence was irrelevant.

And not only that.As a child of the late 1950s I saw the incredible stress of existing as a Black person in this society. To the point there were so many Black people not only my family but my friends whose loved ones died prematurely. It was really impossible to keep the nuclear family together. The husband dies prematurely. Then of course the widow marries again.Only for her to die soon after.Yes many Black children were raised in two parent families back then. What is never mentioned is that either the husband or wife was already a widower or widow previously before the age of 35.Which is why a lot of us of that generation were really raised by the village.Surviving Aunt's& Uncles ,grandparents great grandparents had to pick up the slack. But the loss of parents due to premature death can change the trajectory of families for generations.I saw this first hand.I was one of the lucky ones. Its easy for people to think it was solely due to behavior and life style choices. But I can tell you as a Black person every time I stayed out of the USA when living abroad in the late 1960s,the level of positive homeostasis and positive energy was astounding. My Whole mind, body and Soul felt so different. It was overwhelming. How on earth could a person like me, born and raised in the USA, feel so much better when outside the country.A country that despite everything I truly do love.Even if it doesn't love me back.I know the USA is a great country to work and make a living. But my spirit belongs elsewhere.I can't describe the feeling.I think the trauma of forced displacement will always be there. No matter how many generations removed. Its almost like it really is embedded in our DNA.Its almost like a mother who has her child switched at birth.Only she doesn't know it.But somehow she feels that something is wrong. She is ashamed that she can't feel the bond with the child. She tries to fight those instincts and instead does everything she can to love the child. But something is missing.

All you have to do is believe that Jesus died for your sins and accept him as your lord and savior. John 3:36 "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him." Notice that there is no mention of sin, being good or evil, just believe in Jesus. If you're trying to engage in a nonsense dissertation or hope to upset me, that won't work either. "He who says he has no sin is a liar"..., "To know what is right & choosing to do wrong is sin"..., "Even satan & his demons believe in GOD, they tremble at the name of CHRIST"..., "If you say you love GOD, yet hate others (your brother) you lie & the truth is not in you"..., "(In CHRIST) We live under grace. Shall we therefore commit more sin that we have even more grace? GOD FORBID"! & again, "Do NOT be deceived, GOD is not mocked, men will reap (good or evil) that which they've sown." These are also in the Bible, look them up. What you're claiming is "easy believism." Just profess/accept Jesus & you're squared with GOD. "I can live like hell 'cuz I'm on my way to heaven"! Friend, you're playing cards with satan's deck & your hand's a losing one if you really believe what you're saying! If you think that you're the only privileged people in the society, then think again! We are not born to be treated like trash. We are all equal. We are all breathing the same air. Stop using your skin color to be superior to others... P.S. if I remember correctly, there's a line in a tv series that says that Asian kids are super smart. And Black people are beautiful and talented as well. We shouldn't be the target of bullying by anyone. Most especially not from white people who can't even be decent to play fair.
