@@cashkitty3472 yano I thought the same thing because I’ve seen white, Mexican, Chinese etc people get shot & killed bc they didn’t listen to the police.. It’s not just about race but race does play a huge part especially if you live in a town that’s stuck in the 60s.. clearly if you come across a cop who’s racist he’s gonna BE racist.. but this movie is just kinda confusing to me like the girl didn’t get shot bc she was cooperating with police.. obviously! Buttt the guy literally just grabbed a comb & cops wear bulletproof vests, the cop is completely safe even if the guy was grabbing a gun!!! So I’ll never see a reason for him to shoot… but I also don’t know why it was so hard for the kid to do what the cop said either.. honestly they were BOTH equally wrong! If the kid reaching for the comb was white I feel like people would be saying “oh well that dude was soo dumb tryna act cool and not cooperate with the cop” I honestly just don’t know anymore… I think everything depends on the person..

@Alexandria Kay I totally agree with you. I’m a white all American girl and my mama always taught me if I ever get pulled over to roll down the window and keep my hands on the wheel so they can see them. If they ask for papers I explain to them my papers are in the console and I will get them and then I hand over my papers and license and whatever. Because if my hands get out of sight for a second and I grab something it could look like a gun and the police would be threatened. Racism and gender definitely plays a factor but not obeying definitely doesn’t help. Neither parties were necessarily right.

I live in the Caribbean, we were never taught what the word minority meant, till adulthood we never even knew the word existed, the population here is mostly blacks and indians, although it's very diverse, racism exists in the police force but so does a struggle for power, to feel superior, they want to know that when they wear that badge they are not law enforcement but they're above the law, one time I sat outside my apartment building talking on the phone because I barely had privacy inside my apartment and a police car with two officers pulled up and they started asking me why I was here and what I was doing etc etc, I of course complied and answered everything, then they wanted me to leave and I said I will right after I finish my call but they kept insisting so I got annoyed and then one of them suddenly asked If it was a weapon sticking out through my t-shirt, I quickly lifted my jersey up to show there's nothing, they sat their silent thinking of another way to make me leave because I'm a black man sitting outside wearing a hoodie so of course I'm a threat, when I finally got tired of them staring at me I got up and said "have a nice night" then went inside, it's sad that as black people we are easy targets for police!!

Why would you hate someone Who got a different skin color than you all i want to say is end racism.

Racism is why more complicated than simply a white guy not liking someone for being black, red, brown or yellow. Anybody can be racist, if anything racism is more likely to occur amongst white People than it is white vs black and so on. Hell with it, most wars white people have fought have been against OTHER white people and white people have been stealing land mostly from other white People until recently. However, this does not mean YOU yellow people are innocent, YOU yellow people, have invaded and conquered parts of Europe several times and have treated the native white populations as complete garbage by enslaving, killing and torturing them. Despite this, like white people, yellow people are more likely to be racist against other yellow people. This is evident with events such as Japan’s Unit 731, The rape of Nanking, the genocide in East Timor, the mongols enslaving Chinese people, etc. Hell with it, black people are just as guilty for being racist like white people, many people in the US talk about how bad slavery is but did YOU know that it was black people who sold other black people (there own people) into slavery during the trans Atlantic trade slave. Hell with it, prior to that black people had been enslaving other black people for a LONG time, even the arabs were enslaving black people. And just like white people, black people are just as capable as inflicting horrendous pain amongst themselves and others. This was evident with the recent genocide in Rwanda in the 90s and several Congolese people are considered to be sub-human. Anybody is capable of experiencing racism regardless of their skin colour, ethnicity, nationality, etc. Racism will unfortunately never die out, however, there are just some places in the world that are more tolerant to different races than other places.
