Also, LeBron dropped 22 points and 20 rebounds on Game 4 I think it was. That's also 40. Brooks is just another bozo who gets humiliated at his own expense. They have to learn the hard way. Playoff games played going in the series with Memphis: LeBron 266 (includes 10 NBA Finals, which means he won 10 Conf Championships) Brooks 16 Did Brooks really think he was going to out-playoff LeBron???

Back in, I think 98 or 99, Sacramento was the team to watch. Amazing offense and defense, highly entertaining, and took a really stacked Utah team to game 5 (of a 5 game series), and what they did was just add pieces, make smart moves, but they were serious about getting the title, not just talking. I'm a Lakers fan, but I know that in 2002, that was the Kings series. Everyone knows refs threw a game for LA, and in a 7 game series, that means Sac should've gone to face New Jersey, and let's be real, they would've smoked them in 4 the way LA did.

I'm from Memphis and have been a Grizzlies fan since day one, win or lose. But all the b.s., particularly this year, is embarrassing. I want Memphis to be represented the way I see it. Tough, hard-nosed and hard-working. Let actions speak. Trash talking on the court is what it is. Taking it to the press is immature at best. Only a fu*king idiot would want to put a target on their own back. There are VERY few NBA players that shouldn't be there. And you definitely don't need to give great players like Bron and A.D. extra motivation. Game 6 was a textbook example why. The greats are locked in and the other team has a horrible shooting night. That was an epic beat down. And this was not last year's Grizzlies. Most of our "marquee" wins this year came against teams that were more banged up than us. Last season the Grizzlies were absolutely for real. Even when we had long stretches without key players we took on the best in the league when they were at or near full strength and came out on top, way more often than not. But even when the wins were piling up, the trash talking became tiresome. It was probably a mistake to part with Melton and Anderson. It wrecked us not having Adams and Clarke. And we needed a vet or two for guidance and stability. Maybe Danny Green wasn't a good fit. But from the outside looking in he seemed right for the job. Man I long for the 2 great years we had with Vince Carter. Ja seemed to come down to Earth a bit after his "time away", but the jury's still out. It was good sign when he took his lumps after the beat down and didn't run and hide like Dillon. Embarrassing. That's not Memphis as a city. And until now it wasn't what the Grizzlies were as a team. I hope that if Dillon can't demonstrate a noticeable elevation in maturuty the Grizzlies, move on with someone else. The one thing in this video I take exception to is last years series against the Warriors. It wasn't lopsided. Each team took one good beat-down. Three games were decided by 5 points or less. And then G.S. closed it out at home by 15. I know we had some injuries. I don't recal thel G.S. health status. But the main thing was the series was between a two and a three seed who had lots of championship experience. We played great. We were just a little too young.

@@bigwaidave4865 I definitely didn't forget. I hate anything like that. Same reason I don't like Draymond. As I said, Brooks needs to grow up or go away. Although I'd hate for another team to take on a mess that we made. And same goes for Ja. It's very cool to have a supertar, but not if he's a bringer of chaos. Again, the last month he's shown some improvement but it's too early to tell. Some of the shit he & his crew AND HIS MOTHER have been accused of off the court actually makes me nauseous. And I don't have much hope that the accusations are false. And I'll add this. Even if we win a championship, the grit-n-grind era will always be my favorite. Hell, Conley played with a broken face!! He took took a couple of hard shots, one of those looked intentional to me, and kept on playing. And the hilarious thing is he was considered the weakest of the core four. That was a team! Without a lot of luck they never would've won a championship, but they made it to the conference finals and represented Memphis honorably. The new-look Grizzlies should look back to see how to complete. But I do hope you weren't calling the whole team punks. We do have a lot of great guys on the roster.
