No NBA player had the amount of pressure Lebron did that night, and he answered spectacularly. For that reason I think it's one of the top 3 playoff performances of all time.

Clevelander here. I have watched LeBron since his HS days at St. Vinvent St. Mary’s. I have been a fan ever since. I watched every game of his in Miami that I could. I never understood the hate that he received when he left CLE. I was thrilled when he came back and I watch him to this day. Even in HS, he shared the ball with his teammates, he made everybody better. He was unselfish in his play, and just wanted to win. I will never forget his 4th season against Detroit and in the 4th quarter it was LeBron against Detroit…five against 1, and he was unstoppable. We will never see another LeBron. FACTS!!! people always say Bron is micheal and magic but I feel like it's some wilt in him too. Because wilt was always criticized for getting to the finals and losing. But everybody knew he was better than russell but russell had the teams. Make it so bad wilt average 50 and russell got mvp. HOW!!!

Michael had better teams than lebrons teams period. 95-96 bulls was and still is better than any lebron team assembled minus the 2012-13 heat. One could argue the 2016 cavs were one of the greatest teams assembled over one of Jordan’s teams. But lebron shouldn’t be compared to MJ more like magic, wilt and Kareem. No lie…. as a Celtics fan this is my first time revisiting these highlights after over 10 years. It hurt too much back then. I’ll never forget watching this game in my dads room in 10th grade. I was so sure we would win that series. Watching the shots this man make, I was speechless from the first few mins in the game because after those first few shots you could tell he was dialed in. I don’t think anyone expected that out of Lebron. I remember all the narratives at the time. The rest is history.

That was definitely his peak best game especially talking postseason. My personal 2nd best game in the playoffs by him I thought in his first time around in CLE was 2006 ECF against the Pistons when he took over the last half half of the 4th quarter and OT against a stacked pistons team to beat them 4-2 and go to his 1st Finals where he was hitting everything and scored the last 29 of 30 pts for CLE to beat the pistons and it was a back and forth hitting shots between the Pistons and LeBron both responding with buckets each time. Incredible game ending. Especially since it was his first time taking over to advance his team at such a young age of 22 I believe. Was amazing, they weren’t supposed to even be in that Finals as a team, that was Lebron vs Spurs in that Finals sweep. The Pistons would have made it a series because they had a deep team. But sometimes 1 incredible player can beat an incredible team a game. And Bron has done it a handful of times through his career in the postseason and finals. The Chosen One, King James y’all!

I'll never forget that game, as a Lebron fan, coming off the 2011 collapse, to being down 3-2 to the freaking Celtics after losing to them previously in Cleveland. Leading up to Game 6 arguing with Kobe fans and Lebron haters, being nervous like man is this happening again? At tipoff my heart beating like im playing lol, watching Lebron warm up with this psychotic look on his face, believing that my guy is focused and about to go off but in the back of your head remembering 2010, 2011, and the rhetoric from Lebron haters saying man is it over? The whole world rooting for him to fail, and he out of the gate destroyed Boston, where the game felt over in 6 minutes, while still feeling the nerves from any Boston run to cut the lead and watching Lebron keep control of the game and never let up. Amazing!

I live in Cleveland. Lebron left Cleveland, as was his right, for Miami. It didn't sit well with many here. Lebron heard about it. he knew about it. When the time came, he came back. He acknowledged he didn't handle it right. He took responsibility for his actions. He did what he said he would, and brought a championship home. Lebron said I am going to build s school for underprivledged kids. I am going to make sure they have a chance. He did it. There are kids in college today, getting a chance because he is the person he is. One thing I know. NEVER bet against Lebron, and if he says he is going to do something, he will. Oh yeah- down 3 to 1 in the 2016 finals against the Warriors. (did you just READ THAT???). I never said "oh, well, I knew they would come back", but. I thought it. I beleived it. THEY did it.

Also, it’s normal now for superstars to leave their team to go ring chase but I’m not sure people really understand or remember how much that pissed off pretty much anyone born before like 1975. Fans, media, former players. Superstars simply didn’t leave 60 win teams to go play with their biggest conference rival.
