It’s not a poor thing it’s a living animal and they both derive a lot of respect and love witch the guards give them every day

That one lady in the bun and the pink coat was so annoying, she was treating that poor thing like her own personal pet! HEY PEOPLE, IF YOU WANT TO PET A HORSE, THE LONDON ZOO IS 3 MILES FROM THE HORSE GUARDS AT WHITEWALL, WHERE YOU ARE AT!! GO THERE!

I really think that they should stop people from touching the horses and the soldiers. It’s do undignified to have people mauling the kings horses when they are working.

Why can't people just take their damn photo and leave, they aren't horse whisperers, though they think they are. It is disgusting watching the women especially glob onto the horse with their grimy hands and not leave it alone.

Why do people have to touch the horses, spreading germs from person to person and from horse to guards. This needs to stop for the wellbeing of the guards and horses.

Always amazes me how blatantly some people just plonk themselves in front of others, so totally unaware of anyone but themselves.

Totally love the folks that approach the King’s Guard & Horse quietly & respectfully & have their photo taken & then leave to give others a turn.

If I was the horse…

It's a good job I'm not a fabulous guard think I'd end up in the guard house for telling them to bugger off ..the chaps and horse shouldn't have to pander to ignorant people who obviously not learnt basic manner bet the soldiers definitely need a pint after that every day well done chaps and beautiful horses ...❤

The King’s Guard shouldn’t have to put with rude or ignorant tourists who pull his horse’s reins and generally take the mickey out of them! Go home if U can’t respect British culture or traditions.

Touching the horse is a problem. What the guards think about it is obvious from their facial expressions, but apparently the rules are set so that touching is allowed - because tourist attraction? So the cavalry sets the rules, not the dumb crowd. They don't even back up under the arch to relieve them from the crowd. I guess they're ordered to endure it.

Some tourists seem to think they have a personal audience with the horse and guard. If they really have to, it should be just a quick pic and then move.

I'm really surprised they allow strangers to come into their place of work and touch or crowd the soldiers and their mounts. That to me is interference of their job. They are not out there for strangers to touch the mounts or distract the soldiers at their job or place of work. I'm from USA and I'd be furious if anyone tried to touch my horse.
