@Clay Andrews After completing NC for 30 days, my ex reached out. We have been talking daily but one day he stopped reaching out, so i reached out first, turns out he was upset about something as i suspected. That is why i didn't mind reaching out first. I apologized since it was my fault and we have been talking daily since. But last week he just stopped talking to me and it has been a couple of days. We had a decent chat before he stopped the following day (no arguments). What do i do? Do i wait until he reaches out or should i wait a little longer before reaching out?

@@ioanalee3223 if they left let them come back! I would say to not keep chasing someone if they aren’t chasing you back, as much as you want to grow and text this person if the same effort isn’t being received just stop giving until it’s reciprocated

How long, or how many months should go by to consider a new relationship not to be a rebound?

Hi clay I really need your help. 4 month ago my ex and i broke up and after 2 month he got back and i found out that he was in a rebound relationship and left me for that girl after 2 month he came back and told he wants me but it takes time to break up with the other girl and he says he wants both of us and loves both of us I knew from the signs that she is a rebound bc she is similar to me and he talked about me to her and was contacting and missing me during his relationship with her What should i do now he wants both of us and is contacting us and says he can't choose between us?? Does his feelings for her gonna last?? Should i leave him or try to make my relationship with better so he could finally make a choice?? Please help me

She said she still loves me. We've texted every day since i met her. Its been about 2.5 months. Her and her daughter saw me on Halloween. She said she still loves me the day after cuz i asked. She's been kinda distant texting wise because i blew her up when i was in the hospital. But she says she wants to stay single. She's been single since we broke up. Should i just keep waiting and being patient? We're "friends" we've been "friends" but im scared... Of never been hers again. Her and her daughter mean everything to me.

note to self me on april 8, 2022: hot and cold signs in thew past 2 weeks and then now when becoming emotionally vulnerable about how I say I enjoy her company and listening to music with her and that vibe made her go cold and play with her friends on PC. My ex still texts me and gives me a hug when she sees me. We work together so we eachother about 5 times a week. We have agreed to go for a coffee as friends. I think she is sitting on the fence about getting together. My ex is definitely at the crisis point. I had "the talk" with him about me understanding him but also me looking elsewhere for a relationship if he can't make up his mind". Then he finally agreed to meet. It was an amazing night with him and we talked a lot. He didn't even mention the things why we can't be together. His only concern left was his pride and how he can't tell his friends and family about us. I tried to help him and also told him that if he felt confused or didn't want to meet again etc he should just TELL me and not make me wait again. He was so understanding and even apologized for his hot and cold behaviour. That was 4 days ago and he hasn't reached out. I'm so concerned he's not gonna reach out for weeks again.. I always try to understand him and I'm like 99% sure he's not using me or anything but I STILL feel so used and like he doesn't care.. he was soooo nice and understanding during our meeting and like as if he wanted to tell me "yea I want you but I'm concerned cause I can't tell my friends/family about this..." and I told him to do ANYTHING but not make me wait again sittin in the dark like this.. whats going on I'm really starting to lose my patience for all this..:/ meeting is great but text messages or phone calls seem impossible ?!

@@summerxwings oh damn it‘s been so long.. well.. we broke up in Mai 2020 and he came back like 637372 times but then pulled away again.. he got more and more disrespectful over time. It took me soooo long to finally let go cause he was my first love and I had/have a really unhealthy anxious attachment. Last time I saw him was in August 2022, where he apologized and wanted to meet again.. but same thing happened he pulled away again.. now I‘m finallllly over him.. still think about him ans get sad sometimes but I would never take him back. PLEASE focus on yourself and get a clear head before running after them like I did.. you see things differently and more clearly after some time..

​@@kelddsrx Thank you for taking the time to give an update, I really appreciate it. I'm sorry to hear that it didn't work out in the end and the pain went on for another 2+ years... I am in my 3rd month of the breakup and I think I'm over the stage of endlessly chasing him... I'm starting to see things more clearly and realizing I wasn't the *only* one who was responsible for the deterioration of our relationship (it's really hard to get out of that mindset and you blame yourself for everything when you get dumped), but he also had equal, if not more, shortcomings that led to the breakup. While I still miss him, and I *think* I may still love him, and I still want to see if we can repair our relationship, I don't want an old version of him. I have been working hard to better myself for the past 2 months; I'm not sure if he's been working on himself.

Hi Clay... I really am on a roller-coaster of emotions... I truly belive that we are doing some progress... One year ago he hated me and now after a year he talks and is kind to me... We split up but we are living still together was can be very difficult for our emotions but still we manage to be friends... He says that is confused... Only when I leave with the kids in July he will know if he still cares about me... And I truly undustand that... But I struggling to manage my emotions my ansious self... I try not to analyze all but in the same house with lock down is very difficult. Some days are better than others... We have I think a emotional bound but sometimes I wanted more or a more romantic emotional bound... I am trying to focus and reconect and is not easy.... Hope it will becomes easier and better with time... And I do not mess up with my emotional path...

Worry about yourself bro. This is my own opinion based off my own experinces so don't take this as fact(just something to consider). She's not worried about you like you are her, so just focus on yourself and forming new frienships and all of that. You'll avoid a lot of uneccessary emotional and mental damage that way Think about your feelings ,process them, cry do whatever you gotta do but don't avoid them. Recognize that she might be gone forever(scary!), but also recognize that someone else is out there for you.

Does all this go for marriages aswell?

What does it mean, when your ex bf of 30 days, new relationship that he jumped right in, she contact me asking questions about him sending me things an such

Yes an has married her in the 30 day's, an then she ask me to send her things that he has sent me, an sent things to me an her

My ex and I spend some time together the last few months. She met up with my mom without me knowing first, she came over to visit when my grandmom died. She called me when she had an urgend Problem and I helped her. We met up and went out eating and she told me of this new place we should go to, but when I reached out just to chat she always avoided me. A few days ago, I probably made a collossal mistake: I called her and asked her to give me grip. Just some direction so that the relationship we had might blossom again. I didn't know how to act around her because she was so hot and cold. She got really mad and told me that she doesn't want anything from me anymore and that we will never be together again. That she doesn't want the old relarionship back, and she doesn't want a new and better one either. And then she just hung up. Im just so confused, because sometimes she says the opposite abd one time we were SO close to getting back together but then she just doesn't take the final step. I have done so much work at improving myself but I still feel so disconnected from the world without her that giving up is no option for me.

If you can, I would approach her in person and just ask to talk and explain yourself to her and ask her to do the same. Tell her what you feel in regards to her actions. But be kind while doing so...

@@Nighhhts Thanks for the feedback. I can't just meet ger in person without seeming like a psychopath, so I wrote her text, telling her how I feel about her actions. That I don't think that she would be the kind of person that would abuse my feelings for her own needs, but that it looks like she would want me to view her that way. In the end I told her that if she still finds love for me in her heart and the will to fight, she knows how to reach. Otherwise, I wish her all the best in life.

@@TheSorrel Personally, I would have asked to meet up and then talked to her, that way you could get her to talk then and there. Text is unreliable and you don’t know what she’s thinking or if she’s even gonna respond. In person, you could see her reaction, her body movements, her tone and get a look into her emotions based on her reaction. I hope she responds and I hope everything goes well, man.

Clay I'm in friend zone with my ex since 1 year and we are enjoying interacting with each other and having good emotional connection but still he doesn't commit me we are having small fights in between and i thought i got to point from where i started after fight . And recently we had a great fight due to trust issues and i thought our breakup was also happens due to trust issues because he thought that i don't trust him and he needs a girl who can blindly trust him . We dated for 3 months then suddenly we broke up, because of age gap, his reason for dumping me. It hurts me so much that I cried for a week. Then, I found out that he had a rebound, then just for a month he was been dumped by that girl, KARMA exist! And now he's reaching out for me, calling, texting me and talking to me at work. I really hated him I am just pretending that I am okay! The scar that he engraved in my heart won't be erased. A kind of guy like him don't deserve unconditional love, he's devil!

@@hiitssree829 I am older by 6 years, I am 28 he is 22. I know it isn't right but love is blind for me I fell in love with him. I didn't date for 8 years, I was happy without a guy next to me for those 8 years being single. I admit my mistake! Despite the fact that age gap would be an impediment in my situation.

@@hiitssree829 Yes! I don't know why they can't accept the age differences being an older woman to a young guy, but the society accepted the fact when the guy is older than the girl, It's unfair... But I guess this kind of situation exist around the planet.It's sad!
