So this was about selling or exit..but can you throw some light on what should be our strategy to accumulate quality stocks. For e.g. Pidilite - I bought only 1 share at 1777(exactly 4 weeks back) and since then till now it has gone up to almost 18% I am waiting for a good dip but can't see any since a month. Your advise ?

It took me 3 years to understand when to buy a stock and 5 years when to sell. Million dollar question answered well. Although it's against Mr buffet (to sell a stock) but in long term wealth creation it's a harsh reality and sometimes you need to decide to exit. Even nifty50 companies aren't the same in last one decade

Hello sir, I am avid viewer of your videos and have learnt a lot about stock market from your videos in the past 1 yr. I agree with you that goals should be attached with MFs rather than stocks, they are easy to track. But again the question comes when do we sell the stock, the wealth creation cannot be done till the time the profit is showing only in the demat account, but then as soon as we sell the stock or book profit the stock prices increase. Example - I booked profit in a stock and then the stock doubled. Please help us understand or a separate video on the topic will be appreciated. Thanks for your efforts.

Sir I am a model portfolio subscriber. I stepped in for long term investing and wealth creation only but I assure you that I invested in metal stocks before subscribe to model portfolio. After remains invested, I come to know that it is a cyclical sector, and I studied previous 15-20 years graph of such sectors. So I am afraid being not an expert of the market and company, when would it be started climb down or in down cycle. So please at least could you tell me should I worry for near short term of 6-12 months about the reversal of cycle. I mean for this duration should I take exit from these stocks or remain invested.

Use 200 Day ema for exit sirji. If you are taking trade on daily timeframe, your exit will be there when price breaks 200 EMA of hourly timeframe. Similarly if you are working on hourly timeframe, your exit should be the break of 200 EMA of 30 minute or 15 minute chart

Long term wealth creation is a goal for many Longbterm investors. The problem is that even though a stock might have run up 100% but it appears to have more potential. Eg is SBI cards which has moved up from 500+ levels to 1080 leves in about 9 months..or Tata Consumer which has moved up from 370 levels to 630 levels in last 1 year. But bothered stocks seem to have the potential for greater highs. So how does one decide?
