Really useful, thanks Devon (as always!). I really oversized my RODI system, as my tank is currently much smaler than planned, so my filter often sits for over a month unused. Would you think this impacts lifespan of the stages, or is it all about the numbers?

Question: I’m new in this, I wanna use for first time my 4 stage, I have everything do to is, so the question is: after use my stages, what I should do? How I can storage, wet? With water in the chambers? Or I should dry everything? Regards

You are fine to store it wet as long as it doesnt freeze (as it risks cracking it)

Where is your pressure gauge fitted? After the pre filters and before the RO membrame?

Thanks for the video! Question, do you ever test your total chlorine from your wastewater to tell if it's time to change out your carbon filter? I remember reading that is a good indicator as well.

Deven, Do you also run a booster pump on your RODI? My water pressure is 55-58 and using a booster pump it is 78-80. My system is a 7 stage and I also use 2 membranes.

Answer: When the water starts tasting funny.... Kidding aside, a video on RODI assembly would be good for the people that often have questions on how to properly plumb their RODI systems, especially with the dual membrane setup.

I enjoy your content. I hope your able to see this and respond. I was wondering if you have an idea for me. We have replaced every filter and still are only able to get TDS down to 13. Any ideas for us?

I would look into some kind of in-line filter to add before your unit to drop that TDS so your unit's filters last longer.

Reef dudes, can you convince BRS to sell 7 gallon buckets and mark them at the 5 gallon?

Hello Deven, I added a second RO membrane on my system but took the waist from the first RO and put it in the intake of the second RO, is that ok or should I change it the way you did yours by splitting the the after the carbon to go to the 2 RO membranes? Thank you

Your method is more efficient for waste water. I have my other unit setup the same way. That’s the water saver config :) Both ways work
