Those who wants to convert, let them convert. What is ur problem in that? You are following a religion that is comfortable for you. Let them follow a religion that is comfortable for them. And about giving education for their clan, when there is more takers, then the givers will give first priority to their own clan. (Like the colleges run by caste organizations will give first priority to the people of their caste.)

If the govt wants to control the growth of any community, they have to build a narrative against that community, and the best way to do that is to show their numbers to be HIGHER than the actual numbers in a census. The Indian govt does the exact opposite of it.

True. In Guyana, where I was born, during the colonial era, you have to be Christian to have a Gov't job.

Post 1947 Nehruvian era has seen some of the worst damage being caused to the native cultures of India. Under this the two dominant, imperialist ventures who had ravaged India for the last 1200 years were re-characterized as "minorities" giving the impression of hapless helpless people and extended special patronage and protection under the now massively dominant Indian state. And the the native cultures and communities of India who had just about survived and emerged from 1200 years of being ravaged, and were hopefully looking up to being safe at least now, were instead characterized as the "majority", giving the impression of being marauding barbarians from whom civilization needs to be protected. The two dominant imperial creeds in the last 80 years have steadily built up and heir numbers through both conversion and reproduction.

Similarly, the converts in India to westernised ways of life and crpto Christian status are less the downtrodden and poorer sections, and more the elites who try to ape whatever is the dominant phenomenon in the world. To say nothing of all the disparities and inequalities which exist within the converted Christian populations as also the converted muslim populations in India and abroad. So this narrative of caste inequalies should deprive Hindus of preserving their culture is complete nonsense. Freedom of religion as guaranteed by the Constitution of India which Hindus supported must mean that this freedom extends to Hindus also. The other thing is that if there are wounds on my body, of course the maggots will fly in and take up residence. Is that how secularism envisaged inter-community relations?

@@SharkFishSF There is a theory that BJP wants AP to come down to 70% Hindus from 90% at present. Because when Hindus are overwhelming majority then BJP’s tactics won’t work out. There has to be a sizeable 25-30% minority for BJP to gain foothold. I have spent my childhood in Vijayawada. There are like 100 Ram Mandirs in that city alone eventhough Kanaka Durga is the major deity for Vijayawada. Why will anyone in Vijayawada listen to Hindutva politics, so they need to give free leeway to Christianity and ruin the local demographics. It’s a theory and I am not sure if this absolute truth, but seems highly plausible.

Madam, what you have said is right but we as Hindus need to work on ground-level without that we can't win. First of all we as Hindus need to get rid of our caste identification. Even till this date 90 percent of Hindus are not willing to marriage outside of their caste, even if they do a forward caste will marry from another forward caste, OBC will marry from another OBC etc..I can't blame the kids because this is the poison their parents have taught them. One small incident I would like to share. Couple of years back in Ramanad district of TN around 300 families converted to muslims because the OBC people won't allow them to enter the temple. These things need to be changed then only we can be successful. And more important intercaste marriage should be encouraged. In the schools, colleges, govt shouldn't ask for caste certificate. I believe 80's and 90's born most of them who are parents can bring this change.

This is what happens when we have too much economic disparity. In my parent's village, poor hindus are given 1 lakh cash if they convert. Their kids are given free education in local convent schools. While money from hindu temple is being taken away by the govt, the church uses its donations to convert. Hindus need to wake up. Also, higher caste hindus should stop looking down upon lower caste hindus. This is a big reason why many convert. They should simply abolish this caste system at least for government records. A hindu should be just a hindu.

This is very disturbing. What the internal security apparatus is doing?

( The definition of tribal is relating to a group or community with similar ancestors, customs and traditions) So if one converts or shy away from their ancestors customs or traditions why should our Constitution should consider them as TRIBAL.

The census will falsely report it as 75-78% in order to maintain peace and the status quo (and also because a lot of people will maintain their formal 'Hindu' identity for the benefits of affirmative action policies). The reality is closer to 60%.

Dharmic religious people in India don't have a choice now. They have to marry as early as possible, make as many healthy kids as possible, and raise them all in a very strictly Dharmic way to make sure none of them leaves Dharma for Adharma. (Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, Jain = Dharmic. Others are Adharmi.) Don't seek a marriage from an Adharmi party, and if one of them seeks a marriage from a Dharmic family, make sure that the Dharmic party gets to decide everything governing the marriage. If the Adharmi party disagrees to allow the Dharmic party to do that, make sure the marriage never happens, and make sure that no harm is to come to the Dharmic party because of that. Do you want to know how critical the scenario in India is? Out of all married women in India, 2.1% of the "Hindu" women are married to non Hindu men, and only 0.6% of the Muslim women are married to non Muslim men. If we go with the 2011 census, for every 15 Hindu women married to Muslim men, only 1 Muslim woman is married to a Hindu man!

Those who have converted have been vying for a good life in their original religion. I feel they were ignored or were not given the opportunity to better their lot and hence converted. That is but human tendency to improve their living standards. Instead of stopping people of one religion to convert I feel most of you who have expressed that their religion is becoming a minority should provide the bare basic needs of a human being and ways to improve the standard of living of the people of their religion. 👍That doesn't mean you have to hate the people of other religions to save people of your religion from converting. Improve their lot and there won't be any conversions 👍

What's great in being a Hindu. Brahmin in Tamilnadu. After 98 percent marks still no hope of an engineering seat or a medical seat in a reputed institution on merit basis. No state government jobs for the past 35 years. Much water has flown down the bridge .no use in now crying. As a brahmin in Tamilnadu due u think other Hindus or helping or guiding us. It doesn't matter if other relegion grows.

To Stop all these issue. India should called as Bharat, Remove secularism, Make hindu raastra, Give voting power only to hindu, then automatically every thing will be line, Remove minority Status

Si long as India is a secular state this will be hard to stop. In the same way that Jews need Isreal to be recognized as a Jewish state in order to preserve themselves. We must recognize ourselves as a Hindu rasthra.

I am very happy that PoK is going to be finally part of Bharat in near future. But remember that 2.6 million muslims are going to join the electorate and population of Bharat. Nobody spoke about it. Gratefulness towards Bharat and Modi ji in them is going to be short-lived, and they will work towards caliphate in 1-2 generations when they get comfortable. That's never-dying agenda. (eg Bangladeshis today are muslims first, grateful to Bharat for liberating from Pakistan is last). I'm not an islamophobe, but educated enough to learn from history.

In South India during my school education in St Ann's High school. I have to buy a Bible along with books and should be read in daily school assembly. Even muslim children won't object to it. Those schools get support from upper caste converted Christian leaders. In name of secularism every idiot remain silent. OWN parents think we would learn good English, get jobs which they not saw
