@@Jake_Gotthard Sort of. It’s not coding: I’d describe it closer to Sound Design. As for perfection of sounds, he’s not necessarily making the perfect sound. The video still sounds amazing, and looks cool too. As for “Coding” with mixers, I think you mean he’s routing audio from the computer to a mixer, sending the audio signal to studio monitors. But yeah, coding is a good way to describe Sound Design, as well as composition and the theory side of Music. It’s really just as simple as putting samples in a digital drum rack and at that point, it’s even more like programming lights than anything. Obviously you can get pretty crazy with Ableton’s devices, but the main thing I find is it takes forever to edit each sample and then recording it all.

Everytime I hear this I feel like I'm psyching myself up to launch my space fighter from the launch catapult of a giant battleship. The launch siren goes off, blaring red lights indicate it's time to go, and I blast out into an immediate firefight.

I miss the days when you would make songs out of sound effects from media.

I don’t mind if you just upload random stuff. Part of a series or just you messing around or just you doing a launchpad performance. Your talent and creativity shines no matter what you do and that’s the real reason people watch you.

Heyy there, reporting from a classmate who had a launchpad and played it in school who gave us this knowledge back then; You need to learn to have good timing most importantly. So long you press the buttons in good rythm (which is almost as difficult to master as holding guitar chords imho) then you'll surely be able to play these! Point is; When you DO start watch out for your PC hardware if it can handle the launchpad or not and also train your fingers plus do finger-exercises so you won't cramp up! I wish you best of luck, if you do get into it! Working on launchpads is always impressive and incredible. If you will try and learn it, pure respect to you!

Can confirm, learning launchpad right now and timing is the biggest obstacle. Especially compared to piano keys like my minilab mk2. Honestly learning both is really fun though!

I hope you keep posting. You've got to unfortunately make a decision over whether you want to fight with the algorithm and create content that gets you views or make what makes you feel fulfilled. I mean, there can be a lot of crossover between the two. But if keeping consistent viewers is the goal you might find yourself chasing after specific types of videos to make.

I think one of 2 reasons why these hit so hard in its prime days was mostly because they were used in dark areas to have the lights more appealing and the tunes to be more beat and bassy.
