Thanks for taking my suggestion. Id also liek to point out that when Vex spoke about Viego's "earlier stuff" its how the community felt about Viego, tho Vex was the opposite.

No. In lore, vex followed mist because it made her comfortable, and started following viego, whose cause of these, until she realized that he was finding lost lover making her disappointed because it's not "edgy"

@@RiRiRiPoks in lore but in meta, people were upset to learned who Viego truely was when the Ruined King came out. So while Vex was upset Viego wasn't some edgelord, the community was upset when the learned that Gwen was right; Viego was terrible.

Man I dislike Viego as a character but the voice acting when he thought he felt Isolde was... it made me feel something 😢

He was king from a realm named Camavor. His subjects attempted murder onto him for being such a bad king, he didn't lost his shit at the attempted murder tho, his wife (Isolde) died on accident from that attempt and then he started searching for a way to revive her. He found the Blessed Isles (actual Shadow Isles because of him), there there was the waters of life (Yorick was one of the monks that took care of them). The thing is, the waters can only heal the living, when Viego cheated Isolde out of death her soul got shattered and she ripped Viego's heart out of his chest (quite literally), creating the black mist that curses the isles. So he basically killed a bunch of people out of selfishness, simply because he couldn't let Isolde pass away in peace.

@@enoshrsYeah true, adding to the fact that Isolde’s soul was torn into pieces spread across the realm, without her knowing a woman named Senna obtained one within herself, after she got released from Thresh’s Eldritch lantern by Lucian, she could hear Isolde’s voice within her mind and it semt to help her. That’s why Viego was after her, to obtain Isolde’s soul piece within Senna. Senna, Lucian and a lot others like Irelia, Vayne, Olaf and many more joined the sentinels of light, a group created to fight against the sould of the black mist, which Viego returned to be the king of after a thousand years after his death, he cursed people like Karma and the brothers Darius and Draven, ans so Miss Fortune. Hope this clears thing up :D

Sort of. She's a fragment of Isolde's soul (the part representing her pain) combined with the Black Mist.

How is Elise a Shadow Isles champ? She's a Spider! Isn't bugs and things the whole gimmick of The Void?
