Agreed. I wish Asol was a unlike champion, completely invincible and invulnerable…… but lazy. He does not attack or have summoner spells. He would have 4 abilities, 4 ultimate, but they have 5 minute CDs, and affect both sides. Essentially, this is similar to Plants VS Zombies Garden warfare multiplier shooter game. In it, you could either play as a character…. Or as a boss….. boss has few very limited, albeit useful, abilities. If characters have to farm, boss has to farm as well. So, in League of Legends, it would be no different: Team that picks Asol gets a boss character at the expense of one team member. Benefits? Powerful abilities, extra uninterruptible map information and support-like heals/boons. Maybe even Ornn-like item shop or buffs. Cons? Side with Asol on their team plays 4v5 game for most of it’s time. Asol’s abilities have high cooldown, and he has to roam all the time (kinda like Bard, collecting chimes instead of staying in-lane). If this can work in a multiplayer shooter game and be balanced, it can work in League of Legends multiplayer moba game.

@@amosimo2870 He is very easy to balance actually - give him long CDs. So, you get, effectively, Yummi with 4 summoner-spells on 2-3 minute CD each, flying around the map. Perks? Assists via “summoner spells” Cons? Completely useless without abilities and it is 4v5 game….. oh, he also steals XP from allied by just existing, so, his presence around others is actually detrimental. So, you get an invincible Yummi that can give ignite every 3 minutes, give heal to all allies every 4 minutes (think Soraka), give AoE stun every 5 minutes and give movement speed buff every 3 minutes (think Kled). Super easy to balance, actually, since they are effectively one man down for the most part of the game, but occasional assists, roams and some teamfights…. Pros? Walking ward, kinda.

I mean, she is also a cosmic being, but she left all of her power and glory in order to help people, which Asol probably finds as a waste and such a shame. OG Soraka could also destroy stars and planets with a touch of her finger, she made this body for herself in order to exist in the Runeterra world, the physical form can't handle the amount of magic energy inside of her tho, which makes her feel pain all the time. And all of that for creatures that Asol despises lol

Aurelius sol does not use spells. He's not a mage, nor does he respect them u can see by his multiple voice lines insulting mage. He's a cosmic entity with cosmic powers. An example would be like comparing Dr. Strange from marvel to Alien X from Ben 10. One is casting spells, veigar, the other uses his natural abilities, sol.

Asol passive skill*roasting every champ* effect: emotional damage to both ally and enemy champions.

Aurelion sol makes a very cool comment to pantheon: ''your fate was sealed the moment you picked up targon's spear''. at first it seems like a simple diss, however when you realize that Aurelion sol had been bound to targon by their ''gift'' (the crown). It starts to give greater meaning to why he tells pantheon that his fate has been sealed by him accepting his gift from targon (the spear).

I am curious how aurelion doesn't see time mages zilean and ekko as unique legit they manipulate time

Not only he is immortal and do not care with his own scale, but also, because he can manipulate time as well using the gravitational force, as an after-effect of it's natural power. (theory of relativity) and for someone that can manipulate time, Ekko and Zilean are basics as fuck, affecting only one or two person at most. The scaling is just different.

The thing is that the old kit wasn't really weak, it's just that it was very hard to learn his playstyle. If they buffed him then he would've become too op. Current asol is strong, but there's counterplay options. As a main asol I can tell you that he gets fucked really easily by early jungle ganks and cc, and all the enemies have to do is wait for him to throw his W to cc him and cancel it. Once that's done he can't really do anything about the gank except flash over some wall. Even in late game the same applies. If an asol is ever in a poor situation, he will use W to escape. Wait for it, and then cc it before he gets away. It's the same logic as Veigar. Really high damage lategame champions, but gets fucked by anyone that can chase them down and disrupt their abilities.

@@gebdemedici First off: fellow otter enjoyer instant friendship secondly, yeah that's probably where he's at now but at the time of makin that comment he was a permaban, so i rarely got to even play him, I've taken a big break from league, school+work is just a bit too much to dedicate time to long running games, but I'll take your word on the matter, i still liked the old playstyle as it was unique and incomparable to any other champ in league, so i'll always miss the 1k+ games i had with that kit, not saying the new one is bad, it's just different, and I find change painfully hard to accept XD

This reminds me of the time in Star Trek: TNG when Commander Riker started insulting his crew mates when he suspected they were fakes.

@@maddoxiono, the primodial demon is the first generation demon born in runeterra, they was born from the emotion of being exist in runterra Fiddle existence is just a small magical being compare to aurelion sol Even if aurelion have fear, that fear is beyond the limit of the thing fiddle can exploit Fiddle too weak to exploit whatever emotion and secret aurelion have Fiddle only can using fear of being in runterra ( except few exception like soraka, bard ) To those aspect, he onlly can affect the host, not those aspect true form Sol is beyond fiddle too much , fiddle not have power to exploit anything from sol

As others said the disconnect between lore and gameplay is so vast especially vi, "what you gonna punch a star dragon?" In lore hes totally right Ingame vi demolishes asol 😂 his one benefit of asol is movement while beinf able to attack but vi's q and r just cancel that completely
