Lets be real, bee was the only one who could actually put up a good fight vs optimus. These two over the years are basically anakin and obi wan, vegita and goku, Naruto and Sasuke, knuckles and sonic like they know each other so well so it makes sense why this fight went the way it did. Not to mention at first bee wasnt trying to go all out on optimus but eventually he said iight dude wont listen

Like, this is the same movie where a dude whips out a card with the Romeo and Juliet law on it, just to justify why he‘s dating someone’s underage daughter, and the scene where they introduce like a bunch of Decepticons like it’s a goddamn S-Squad 2016 rip off, AND the scene where the bald dude punches a whiteboard screaming „Magnetism! …………… MATH!!!“. It was HORRIBLE

He’s almost always fighting above his weight class like when he stalled Lockdown, helped fight Sentinel, and all the Decepticons he consistently put in a body bag. Honestly the fact that people are surprised Bee did well in a fight against Optimus is honestly insulting. Like I ain’t ever gonna claim Bee was gonna win that fight because frankly speaking he wasn’t ever going to. I’m a die hard Bee fan and will forever point out Prime got bailed by a way but I accept that yeah Bee was never winning their fight. But like seriously as far as strength in the Bayverse goes Bumblee is like top ten percent and that’s not capping Bee has lost in the verse maybe like one serious fight ever all other fights generally are tied at worst. And if you bring up the petty scuffle between Bee and Drift in the fourth movie I am going to point out that neither of them were fighting seriously so it is invalid because you can easily say that Drift just tried harder and was putting more effort into the fight than Bee was. Whether that’s true or not remains to be seen but it is clear neither where fighting seriously.
