Good to see you back smiling in your happy place, mate. Hope most of the bad times are now behind you. In a separate note, I came to Sintra in a photography tour about 5 years ago and have been desperate to get back there with the bike since! Some absolutely incredible scenery there. 👌🏻

Appreciate you sharing your mindset about your 10 day break….. I can wholeheartedly agree that sometimes procrastinating about riding flares up and you then beat yourself up about not getting out….. It’s ok to have a break once in a while. Great content mate, keep it up and be kind to yourself 👌😍

I'd be happy to ride pretty much anywhere when the sky is blue and the sun is out. That part of Portugal does like nice though. Most of my solo rides these days are 50km or less. Much easier to get motivated when I can do them in a morning

Looks the place to be.. in comparison my group ride was cancelled this weekend due to non stop rain and 36mph wind gusts!

Great sight seeing around the west coast of Portugal, for me, my take away was your honesty around taking time off the bike. Great tip, and only 10 days. We should ride bikes because we want to, and love it. It is so good for the top 2 inches when you get out because you are enjoying it, not resenting it. Keep up the good work.

Just a correction. Sintra isn't a National Park. The only Portuguese national Park is Gerês, in the northwestern mountain ranges of the country. I am sure you'll end up riding there once you start exploring other regions. Views are stunning but.. You better get use to 15%+ sustained climbs! 😭😭😭
