Porto is a wonderful city. Bread, cheese, and a bottle of wine down on the quay as the day fades is one of life's great pleasures. Forest fires inland when the eucalyptus trees burn can make it impossible to ride in the summer though. Take the steam train along the Doro and come back by boat....

Can't believe that you came to Porto for a ride...The ride you made, is what we call the "ride to Entre-os-Rios". Is the main course for many Portuguese Professional Riders for their everyday workouts. Nacional 108 is the name of that road, and it's so fun to ride not only for the course itself, but for the views that you get of the Douro river. Hope to catch you in the next time!
