Kabuto fight, pt1. / Iruka swapped out with Naruto , frozen in gear from orochimaru, if he gets past that not enough chakra to last with them, if he did, he would have to box with kabuto who just beat a mentally nerfed tsunade and could fight somewhat with kakashi shown in the hospital and stated by orochimaru.. he’s a teacher if we being honest so if we’re talking teaching it’s when kakashi made him learn everything to become hokage. To me those are the only two reasonable times to say Naruto surpassed iruka depending on the context. Short reply: ( pt.1 kabuto fight naruto physically skills surpassed iruka as a ninja/ when Naruto became hokage he surpassed iruka as a teacher ninja).

Nah lol, your right that take was crazy by him acting like Naruto was on Irukas level just because of a passing statement in Shippuden. Naruto literally early series 1 pummeled a chunin that Iruka was losing to at best equal to just by dropping a mass shadow clone jutsu 🤣. Which Naruto showed he can do in series one several times. Naruto at neji fight beats Iruka outside of plot and anything post Rasengan is over kill. Iruka has zero answer to Rasengan. The dude is an average chunin that fights pretty much solely with basics and weapons. Iruka never shows anything after that to show he's passed that level either. Naruto at valley of the end series one was low jonin level. The fact he says Naruto at RasenShuriken passed Kakashi, Yamato and Iruka but implying he hasn't passed Iruka before that when all he added was one jutsu is crazy. That implys he's saying Iruka is relevant, a challenge for Kakashi and Yamato which is laughable.

@@MasquedJustice Nah, Naruto is too slow to hit Kakashi with Rasen Shuriken. Also Kakashi has Kamui. Rasen Shuriken is more powerful than anything Kakashi had at that point but it’s not enough to win a fight against him. He needs Sage mode to beat Kakashi.

@@MasquedJustice That makes zero sense. If you surpass someone overall then that means overall you are stronger than them. Naruto was not overall stronger than Kakashi. He only surpassed Kakashi in one area. And we dispute the opinions of fictional characters all the time. Kisame said Jiraiya would beat himself and Itachi at the same time. Anyone with a brain that’s familiar with the series knows that’s nonsense.

@@SunlightGwyn dude, in a series like Naruto, where abilities and shit counter eachother all the time, no, you don't have to be able to beat a specific person to be stronger than them. Prime example being Deidara vs Hebi Sasuke. Deidara is undeniably stronger than Sasuke overall, but Sasuke's abilities all hard counter Deidara's. We can tell Sasuke's abilities hard counter Deidara's, and he still barely wins, so we can infer that Deidara is overall stronger. This isn't DragonBall, Naruto has actual strategy and more to it's combat system than "guy A punches harder than guy B so guy A wins" Also, for Kisame's statement (I think it was actually Itachi's, I can go check in a bit) we can infer that the scaling in part one Naruto was different from Shipudden's scaling, meaning that Kisame's statement, at that time, was probably accurate. We know the scaling changed because base Gai was swapping hands with Kisame in part one, but had to go sixth gate to take his 30% clone down in Shipudden. And even if the scaling didn't change, Kisame doesn't know the extent of Jiraiya's power, he could easily be hyping up Jiraiya because of his Sannin title. Whereas with Kakashi stating that Rasenshuriken Naruto scales above himself, he has a full understanding of Naruto's power and abilities, even going so far as to be the one who lead him through the Rasenshuriken training process. Furthermore, nothing indicates that the scaling from this point onward was changed, Naruto scaling above Kakashi with the Rasenshuriken doesn't get retconned.

Naruto really hit a wall with his power progression until his Sage training, it makes it almost seem like he barely got any training at all for those 2 years outside of having marginally better taijutsu and some anti genjutsu training.

Jiraiya was too focused on getting him to master the Nine Tails which was a mistake. He should have been trying to nurture Naruto's own strength since clearly Jiraiya didn't know shit about training a Jinchuriki.

Jiraya also helped him with his taijutsu and controlling up to 3 tails of kyuubi chakra until he lost control and Kurama took over him. Kyuubi chakra was really hard to control for Naruto and it acted as a double edged sword cause using it for to long could harm him and Kurama’s conscious was constantly fucking over his mentality. Up until the point he trained with Bee, Kurama’s chakra was more of a burden than a benefit for him

@@HC-gm4fo Naruto learned the Rasengan in a WEEK in part one. Naruto didn’t even KNOW what nature transformation was until Kakashi & Asuma explained it to him. Everybody says “Jiraiya helped him master the basics” but Naruto didn’t even know what the damn basics were until he was taught them by people other than Jiraiya.

Minato was capable of cutting a tentacle from the 8 tails, and potentially go through A's lighting cloak when he was a jounin, however when Obito attacked Konoha, Kushina does mention she could have killed the nine tails herself, and since Minato is the Hokage and by extension stronger than Kushina, he does have an argument for AP around here; especially because he had to brawl with his half of the nine tails without the help of Kushina and had to take that chakra physically on his own as well, while having an easier time than Naruto did judging by what Kurama and Naruto say when they see kcm Minato for the first time.

Kushina killing Kurama was from her chain hacks since if she sealed it inside of her before she died it would die with her. Minato cutting As chakra cloak is hype though but we also see the Rasenshuriken tear the 3rds lightning cloak, and it was stated as a jutsu to rival Minato’s power;

People don't really notice but Naruto is actually technically a prodigy. Any time he starts to actual train and has someone teaching him properly, making him take an interest he progresses faster than most people. Sasuke trained his entire life to get as strong as he was in part 1 and Naruto in such a short time surpassed him to the point that was one of the reasons he went to train with Orochmaru. Had Naruto actually had someone to train him and make him take an interest in things earlier on, he'd have likely always been stronger than Sasuke. For reference Sasuke is stated to be a greater prodigy than even Itachi. That would make Naruto a prodigy as well.

Lets not even get into the level of overkill if he manages to successfully summon Gamabunta. Craziest take ive seen in a long long time lol.

The Minato part is hard to gauge, since we haven't seen enough of him to confirm in the slightest terms. Only when it's obvious when a character like Naruto has surpassed his dad, and that's mainly in the war arc. Before that it was just all raw power and amps.

Well I would argue Naruto surpassed Iruka during the chuunin exam arc as Iruka is just not a fighter can anyone name a singular jutsu he used to any feats he got it’s 0. Iruka is just a Mentor and not strong and wouldn’t beat any of the genin who took the chuunin exam and made it to the prelims. I could argue that he surpassed him earlier because he lost to Mizuki meanwhile Naruto put Mizuki in the ground but I’ll give iruka the benefit of the doubt and say chuunin exam arc Naruto would beat Iruka

So I have a question. When one creates a shadow clone, he has to split his chakra in half and distribute it to the clone. Now when one uses sage mode, their have to mix an equal amount of nature energy to their own chakra reserves. If I understood the concepts correctly, then that means if Naruto uses a single clone to gather nature energy, taking in enough equal to the clone’s chakra reserves, does that mean the clone would completely replenish Naruto’s chakra reserves? Or is it that he’d get more?

Obviously mental amped Naruto from chapter 1 is already stronger, but regarding his regular power, I'd say post-tree climbing training base Naruto surpassed Iruka or at least they're at the same ballpark, since he's not far from post-tree climbing training base Sasuke, who even prior to that training bodied Mezu and Gozu, two chunnin level opponents. btw I love the respect on my man Killer-B. @@playathesaints9599 debatable. You could argue sage mode Naruto that fought Pain could beat the 5 lage from statements and scaling based on those statements. Things like Hiruzen being stronger than the other 4 kage including Ohnoki and A, and the 3 Sanin surpassing Hiruzen in their transformed states. Naruto surpasses Jiraya in sage mode in power, meaning he'd most likely be able to contend with the other 2 in their transformed states (unless we're talking about mental amped tsunade who fought Madara, but she wouldn't get the same amp she did against Madara while fighting Naruto). War arc sage mode Naruto there's no contest. Naruto reacted to the edo 3rd raikage, meaning he should be able to do the same against the 4th raikage. Damaging him would be the hardest part since his durability is pretty high with his lightning cloaks. I think Naruto could do well against Gaara, Ohnoki and Mei, but have a lot of trouble against Tsunade and A due to their durability.

It’s funny how some of these people are the ones who kept Naruto in check from time to time.

Nah, asuma taught him wind release prior to him learning the rasenshuriken with kakashi and yamato

I don’t know about surpass with the rasenshurakan. Like that’s one technique but how do his other stats compare. Like the creation of that jutsu surpasses any jutsu Kakashi has at the time besides Kamui. Though we did see them both face Kakazu

For Naruto and Sasuke, it’s obvious they surpassed their masters by developing new jutsus adding to the ones they learned from their respective senseis. Naruto with the various Rasengans and mastering Toad Sage Mode; and Sasuke surpassing Kakashi with his Chidori variants and his brother Itachi, perfecting his Susanoo to its final form. Sakura is the only one who failed to surpass Tsunade since she has no original jutsus or abilities of her own to add on. She’s a cheap copy. Punching hard is her only attack and she still needed to be rescued after asspulling the Byakugou Seal in front of Sasuke. Sakura even with the Seal, she couldn’t even save Shikamaru who nearly died and Tsunade had to step in healing him just in time.

@@exequielbreton4393 “surpassed” but here’s the problem - NO proof or feats to show it. For Naruto and Sasuke is painfully obvious and need I remind you, Sakura was almost killed by Shin in that awful Sarada Gaiden arc had Sasuke not saved her. She has always been weak and Kishimoto established that again with that pointless mini arc.

If naruto has half of the kyuubi's Chakra, does that mean he can go full power for half as long, or half as strong for as long as a complete master of his bijuu (Bee) can sustain his full transformation?
