If we take the calcs you did into consideration as really accurate estimations for what we are told in the manga then it proves something that I’ve always thought That Kishimoto unlike Kubo and Oda did not know or took the time to read his own notes and wasted the potential of his characters Hell Kakashi can make a crap ton of shadow clones but Naruto who has more that 500+ times kakashi’s chakra at the end of the series cap only at 2k clones?

@@Neo-925 chakra & strength don't correlate 1:1 because you can't output as much chakra as you have you do it in smaller bursts in other words if Naruto has 1,000,000 chakra but can only output 10,000 at a time. Adding 10,000,000 more chakra to his pool would only give him more to draw from but still only outputting 10,000 at a time.

If chakra works like reiatsu from Bleach, I think we all can agree that Naruto can finish most of his fights by doing nothing and just flexing his chakra.

I mean yeah. The god tree can literally be seen from a country level distance away. Like the entire battle against the 10 tails where the God Tree sprouted was in the Land of Lightning which is 2 entire countries away from The Valley of the End which is in the Land of Fire. While Naruto and Sasuke are fighting after the 4th war, you can blatantly see just the stump of the God Tree in the distance meaning that despite being THOUSANDS OF KILOMETRES AWAY YOU CAN STILL SEE JUST THE STUMP OF THE GOD TREE. The God Tree is fucking massive.

Speaking about Chakra, I have a question. Kisame was known as the tailed beast without a tail because of his chakra reserve. Can he handle the Rinnegan? Let's say that the Rinnegan can fits in his eye sockets. Can he handle both Rinnegan? Because Obito who's an Uchiha with Hashirama cells can only handle one Rinnegan.

Probably not. The reason being is that Nagato who handles the Rinnegan best was an Uzumaki, stated to have “powerful life force” which reinforces their physical constitution. Obito, who was half white zetsu full of Yang chakra, had trouble controlling one. Kisame has none of that. He can barely handle a few tails of V2 chakra at any given time and says he’s shocked Bee doesn’t got insane from it.

He probably has as much chakra reserves as any other Jinchuuriki except for the Nine Tails. So I imagine him being as strong in base and so on.

i never thought about it before, but Naruto is kindof a protogy like itachi and minato, mastering the shadowclone jutusu that fast. It took team 7 a little while to learn tree climbing. But naruto learned that s rank really fast. I always saw that as a display of the amount of chakra he has but it really shows his ability to learn and master something

@@JohnM0rrisbecause anyone who uses it is almost guaranteed to die if they make more then 10 clones. Some jutsu are ranked s/forbidden because of their destructive properties on the USER. Like rasenshuriken was at first. Most people if they used 10 clones they would be so immeasurably weak by splitting chakra and then they would have severely diminished their reserves in doing so. It works for Naruto because his chakra dwarfs everyone but hashirama for the vast majority of the series.

@@deadprecidents Adult Naruto easily has as much as Hashirama, if not more. People think of Naruto has a teen, but he is immensely more powerful as adult Naruto. Hashirama was probably on a similar level as 16 year old Naruto. We only see peak Hashirama.

Naruto actually is a prodigy, but he has a few handicaps. First, he's not a traditional learner or thinker. Sasuke, Itachi, Minato, Kakashi, Shikamaru, even Sakura these guys can be exposed to a concept either theoretically, written down, or explained and they'll pick it up in an instant and understand how it functions immediately. For strategic geniuses they'll then be able to apply it flawlessly. Naruto learns by doing and works things out in mid action. Second, Naruto had no family to teach him ninjutsu or help him train at home. So he didn't acquire the information in the purely scholastic school setting and was unable to get customized private instruction from his parents at home. That's why while Kakashi taught him tree climbing technique by basically telling him what it was and leaving him to it, he excelled when Ebisu and then Jiraiya spent time with him on the water surface walking and summoning, and he really surged forward in the Wind Release and Sage Mode training. Third, before Jiraiya everyone made the mistake of trying to train Naruto like a normal shinobi who needs to worry about running out of gas. They tried to make someone who was really big pretend to be small. Naruto is an overpowered engine that needs to be cut loose to run like wild.

I think the one thing we forget about chakra is that there is constant mention of chakra quality and I'm sure it plays some effect on value. Like poor chakra acts like .75 of regular chakra.

This was pretty much confirmed with the Uchiha/Senju dynamic. Chakra potency is just as effective as chakra mass when it comes to the power of a jutsu. I.e: Madara's fire jutsu vs. Hashirama's mokuton

Both of his parents had incredible chakara reserves, minato could teleport freely using flying raijin and even teleported a tailed beast bomb, kushina was an uzamaki and had so much chakara that she could survive having the ninetails ripped out of her and stayed conscious, which kinda makes her comparable or above naruto since naruto was knocked unconscious from having kurama extracted and definitely would had died without sakuras medical ninjutsu, where as kushina was able to move around and even had enough vitality to live for a while after being pierced through the stomach by the nine tails.

hey six, when jiraiya sais he cant handle gamabunta i believe hes implying he cant boss around or order around gamabunta, like hes saying using him in combat reliably would be difficult due to his personality. like his personality is so intense that hes difficult to manage.

Kakashi saw Naruto use shadow clone and was like "cool". Then he sees Sasuke using fire ball jutsu and was "OMG NO F*CKING WAY THIS KID JUST DID THAT! WHAT AN AMAZING PRODIGY! I WILL TEACH HIM EVERYTHING I KNOW! HE WILL BE THE BEST OF US!"

I believe he said that because their chakra pools were mixing thus stacking Naruto’s reserves even greater. Even though there’s a seal in place the chakra still leaks ( but we all know that already). Further evidenced by Naruto’s features (“whiskers”)being influenced by Kurama’s chakra in Kushina’s womb. At that point in the manga Naruto and Kurama weren’t cooperative so Naruto had no real control over his (nine tails) chakra. A good example of this being Ma & Pa Sage’s inability to passively channel nature for Naruto because nine tails hates frogs. Most of the things that affect Naruto’s chakra control early on have to do with his lackluster teachings and Kurama either passively or intentionally interfering.

yeah was gonna say that. plus it is kind of backed up by feats in the show also. the first fight at the valley of the end. he was never able to make a 1 handed rasengan tell when Kurama was just giving in to him. to watch him suffer in the fight against Sasuke . he let him have more control and Naruto was instantly able to do something he never was able to. showing that Kurama letting him have that control was changing something in Naruto. even after that fight Naruto goes back to having to use clones to make resengans again. the only change being Kurama's willingly letting Naruto do stuff. I believe at some point even in cloaked mode Naruto still had to use cloaked chakra hands to make the rasengan showing that it was not just the increase of chakra that did this to him. it was the willingness of Kurama that was the only real change.

I'm of the belief that Kakashi meant Naruto on his own would have 100x his chakra apart from Kurama. And I think this is backed up by how Kurama replenished himself on Naruto's chakra after Naruto stole Kurama's chakra in their tug-o-war.

That's blatantly false and you and so many fans needs to stop saying this. Kakashi says Naruto's chakra reserves on his own is 4x his and if Yamato wasn't suppressing Nine tails it would be a 100x. That 100x is because of Kurama. Even then in the war arc we literally see how much chakra Naruto has compared to half of Kurama

Now think how momoshiki only took like 30 mins to an hour to drain naruto from 100% to 40% with this amount of chakra. That’s insane speed of draining if that was anyone else he could actually instant kill someone by draining their Chakra

the only time i think he actually ran out was final valley part 2, but he ran low many times during the war and asked kurama to kneed more chakra for him.

When Kakashi gets the cloak during the war he has a unquantifiable amount more chakra than beginning of shinpuden Kakashi. It’s evident with how many times he uses kamui pre war and during the war.

I think when Jiraiya talked about not being able to handle Gamabunta he didn't mean he couldn't summon him, he just meant that he had a hard time getting him to do what he wanted. Gamabunta doesn't exactly come off as the most cooperative guy in the world.

​@@AYAKXSHI Ma and Pa were only helping Jiraiya to keep the energy balanced with his chakra because Jiraiya never learned how to balance sage energy, hence the toad features. That would also help him hold the mode for longer than 5 mins.

I always looked at it as you naruto has a whole lot of chakra, not only from the uzumaki lineage or him being half uzumaki, but from minato as well he has a tonne of chakra himself for a normal shinobi anyway,nc hammer 23 even did a break down of minato thought process of how he would seal the ninetails and watching this video actually makes that video make sense, naruto has a whole lot of stamina and thats why it made sense for him to get the side of the ninetails that represented the body not the mind, so where im coming from here is that i always look at it as naruto just had the chakra, as he grows it gets more matured and powerful, but since his chakra is holding down the ninetails hes unable to use it all, then when he bonds with the ninetails and got full use of his chakra, plus what the ninetails is helping him to do, he would have a lot more chakrathan everyone else.

Also could talk about chakra control, with bad skill you can waste more chakra than you need to perform a jutsu. With more practice and chakra control you should in theory be able to cast the same justu more efficiently using less chaka or make it more powerful depending

The fact he has to learn that in 2 years while it took him a few days to master the first rasengan is pretty implausible since the giant rasengan doesn't have any new element from the original besides being bigger.

Do you think there's a difference between alot of chakra and powerful chakara. They never mention it but it seems like a think, like sasuke can match naruto in strength but not amount. So can you train your chakra strength but just not stamina?

"Potency" is mentioned many times. Karin in particular talks about Sasuke's becoming more potent through the 5 Kage Summit and Kurama's Chakra is noted as "potent" or "dense" more than once. What exactly that means is harder to tell.

Enough to, with luck, with full kurama, some of each biju chakra and his own plus sage mode to almost reach like 80% of the god Hashirama Senju chakra reserves in base. That is a very big feat naruto should be proud of.

​@@yep1486bro the only version of naruto that van contemplate surpass hashirama is byron mode... And thats a maybee. We never saw hashirama trully go all out. The only time he was kinda serious was smurking vs full kurama + full susano while holding back to not kill madara while eventually doing it because madara didnt change his mind. He was the most nerfed edo of all in comparison to their alive version and still easelly held down the tens tails and deafeated amped hashi cells madara with rinnegan. He literally has natural sage mode at all time let alone actively extracting... Literally like the god tree... The guy is by far the most broken character in the whole verse. The only base character that doesnt need external amps like biju or sax paths power to go toe to toe or win vs Otsutsuki characters if alive prime.

Part 1 is slightly debatable. But the only reason minato didn't seal the entire 9 tails in naruto is because he was born minutes before the seal happened and he feared it would be too easy for the 9 tails to break out of the seal

There's a statement in the first databook that says the amount of chakra possessed by the nine tails sealed inside of Naruto (half the 9 tails) is immeasurable. Then there's the statement for the ten tails also having immeasurable chakra without kurama.. It's safe to say Naruto has infinite chakra

When Edo Hashirama stated that Naruto had nearly as much chakra as him and then said "no, this has nine tails chakra in it" it wasn't referring to half of Kurama as it was shown prior to that statement that both halves were linked through Naruto and Minato fist bumping, so it was full Kurama + Naruto's own chakra. Of course as Naruto got older he got more chakra thus making him the character with most chakra in the whole franchise to date but that's merely due to his protagonist status.

@@similaritiesendhere Hashiramas Sage Mode is way more powerful than full 9 tails with EMS Madara* and no, we are not certain, that statement was said by a wood clone on base. As the other reply said, for Hashiramas sage mode to work he has to have the same chakra level he is going to draw in nature energy, sage mode is just balancing the 2, at least if we apply toad sage mode lore to Hashiramas sage mode. The databook entry for snake sage mode is way different.

Either they don't have as much or it's just a harder jutsu to use than Naruto makes it seem since they definitely know it, Tobirama was the one that made it forbidden

Hashirama most likely can.. he can spam entires forests with no dificulty, making that amount of clones should be easy. Also dont forget woodstyle clones are by far the best clone in the whole show

Correct me if im wrong, but when using Shadow clone jutsu, doesnt your chakra split between you and the clones equally ? So spawning a clone gives the clone 50% and u lose 50%. If 99 clones are spawned ur on 1% of chakra, no ? 😄 not to mention 1000 clones 🙈

NC Hammer has the best calculation for Naruto's chakra. We have to look to Baryon mode. Baryon mode was created by Kurama and Naruto colliding their chakras to create a new form of energy. That collision destroys the chakra for good. They started ramming the chakra and Kurama ran out FIRST. So Hokage Naruto had CONSIDERABLY more chakra than full Kurama.

wow naruto is so amazing, the power level number that he was born with is like 999999999999999 that is so impressive, I should totally listen to all the fictional characters made by masashi kishimoto, who keep telling me I should be obsessed and love naruto with no question.

Something that was really cool early on the series when he was a child, was that whenever naruto summoned just 2 or 3 shadow clones, the enemy was always very impressed. Imagine if they would of known he summoned 100's at one point.

It's a bit of head canon but the seal used chackra (not minato's)and when jiraya and orochimaru strengthened the seal they used chakra too so the seal is like a lock feeding on naruto's chakra and that's what kakashi talked about naruto's chakra alone is 100 folds of kakashi (if he wasn't surpassing kurama)not kurama which had hundreds of folds compared to naruto so it's incomparable to kakashi in the first place so yamato was surpassing kurama because naruto wasn't focused on that but still most of the chakra surpassing him was naruto's and not yamato and that's why yamato was terrfied when the seal nearly broke because he can help naruto but he can't surpass it by himself and if he could they could have loosen the seal to it's limit to free as much of naruto's chakra as possible but he couldn't so lastly that means kakashi was talking about naruto's chakra alone when he was a kid was 100 folds of kakashi and kurama dwarfed it as shown in the manga so the upper limit of naruto is insane at least thousands folds of the top jounins and with kurama recharging himself and naruto's and sage mode making million clones in a day for example is definitely possible to naruto

Kurama beeing a larger boost would actually make sense as full power adult naruto runs out of chakra way faster than in the war arc and vs sasuke. Since sage mode uses base chakra aswell as nature and can use kurama chakra in the full power transformations narutos base chakra would run out faster after gaining the 2nd half of kurama (max power output goes up but base chakra runs out faster)

One thing that show a lot that Naruto have a lot of chakra is when he opens de seal and what he do with it against Kurama in his mindscape also when he give kurama chakra to everyone with a peice of his own chakra in it. Another thing is when he fight against other bijuu and jinchuriki. People see it as Kurama being the strongest among the bijuu. But I really don't see it in that way. I see how Naruto is strong and can use his and Kurama chakra to fight better. The real difference there is not Kurama power, but Naruto. We have Bee by his side to compare. Bee can use kurama chakra in same way and also he do not have the huge chakra Naruto have. There is also Minato there too. He have the exact half of Naruto bijuu and he can't make the same use Naruto do and being as powerful as Naruto is. Another exemple is Sasuke against Naruto at the end. He had the Kurama half Naruto had all his life + 8 full bijuu. Naruto had only yin half and just with that plus sage mode and nature energy he won against Sasuke.

Woud be nice if Boruto let we see how much chakra Naruto could use only on his own. However Boruto is kinda hard to grasp how powerful the character really are because the power scales is very messy too. I hope pos time skip Boruto fix the power level problem so we can better grasp the character level os strengh. So we can see how strongh Naruto would be with only his own chakra.

Naruto without kurama can probably make a planet size rasenshuriken since most of his actual chakra are used to keep kurama sealed

I think what Jiraiya means about not being able to handle gamabunta is more to do with his personality and how he can difficult to work with sometimes
