This is why you make them fill out a form for any dietary restrictions and have them sign it when they order the cake. That way they can’t argue that they said it when they didn’t

but they still will. it goes even that far that they will say that you faked the signature. So you need the camera footage to prove even that.

That is in fact very suspicious to cause a heavy allergic reaction on purpose on your child just to get a refund on the cake or something more probably too And imagine that they actually went to court, if the child would find out that THEIR MOTHER, the person who was supposed to protect them gave them something like that on purpose she would have trust issues for many years since that incident Espessially with her mom It is really harmfull not only in the physical kind of way

They try to say they or their children are allergic to something with no proof or got food poisoning with no doctors visit to confirm it and threaten to sue to scare the businesses into giving them refunds and free gift cards

That's what abusers always hope. A doctor told me I was bleeding to death to convince me to take her drug cocktail. My eyes just glazed over because I knew she was lying. (This was after having my baby.) Not the only time I was fear -mongered by a doctor either, and I keep minimal contact with those.

It isn't difficult with a bit of patience and practice, you can look up recipes and my pro tip is to get an oven thermometer cause usually people overlook how important it is to pre-heat at the right temp and to keep that temp even during the whole process. Good luck!
