@ Kj_Skullz Honestly, why would the parents agree to send her to college. She clearly wasn’t focused on her career. She was just there so that she wouldn’t have to work. After high school, they should have forced her to work so she can pay for her own expensive material stuff, so she can learn to take care of herself in the real world. That’s the whole purpose of college……to prepare you for adulthood.

I worked while I went to college. It wasn't always easy. In fact, one semester, I worked 2 jobs while going to school. You have to work a job when you're in college or even high school for that matter. It shows you the value of hard work and also gives you an idea of what it's like to have a job when you're done with school. You can't go through life having other people give you money.

What I like is that the parents blamed themselves for their child’s spoiled behaviour. In scenarios like this, kids are only like that because parents always enabled it. In very rare cases does the child act like that despite being taught and raised to appreciate. If I could get anything just by asking, it would be dumb not to continue. I have to be taught into seeing why I should stop being spoiled. Knowing you can’t get everything in life is an important lesson parents/legal guardians and teachers should teach as young as possible. You have to sacrifice short-term happiness in order to have long-term wellbeing. It’s difficult to take away long-term happiness
