    Title idea: bully accidentally saves girl Fiction story: a bully bullies this one girl all the time, but one day when the girl is in her seat she pushes her into the table (on her chair.) But the bully actually just saved her she was choking on her food. The girl gets up and thanks her. The bully is confused. Through out the day everybody thanks her. Then one day, she asks someone who she is. They tell her she’s a famous Tiktoker and give her the girls user. She looks her up and she has 1m+ followers! The bully talks to her the next day with a apology (knowing she is famous) the girl forgive her not knowing. The next day the girl over hears her talking about to her friends how she only apologized for bullying her for fame. She records her and posts it. Everyone knows what she did. They eventually forgive her after she apologizes to everyone for real.

    Honestly, both parties aren't wrong but they aren't right either. Kids need to understand the meaning of family time, parents need to understand the meaning of leisure time/ privacy. Ofc they can play games but there is a time and place for everything. Remember you are the ones who buy them the electronics. What you should have said was you get certain amount of time on them. You don't have to be overbearing just stern. Respect goes both ways guys

    Anything TOO MUCH is bad! Balancing your time is the key! Neglecting other things for doing something too much is BAD! Socializing with other people in real life...interacting with others in person is too important to just keep yourself locked up in your room playing mobile games. Mom is right but should compromise with the kids regarding gadget time. Family bonding time without gadgets is very important!!! ❤❤❤

    I actually really liked the mom in this video. She has genuine concerns about how her kids are spending their time and doesn't give them everything they want. She tries to keep them happy but she struggles with how best to support them. She isn't a perfect hero or a one-dimensional villain. She feels like a genuine character who wants to save her kids from the financial problems that she's going through and is in the process blinded by it. I hope that Dhar Mann continues to go in this direction. Just because a character exists to serve a message it doesn't mean they can't have complex motivations and personalities. Edit: Thank you for all the likes! Seeing them made my day and I really appreciate it! It's also incredible that Dhar Mann commented on this - thank you so much! Regarding the argument that is going on in the comments - I completely understand your points of view. While I personally believe the mom's concerns are viable, I agree that she doesn't deal with everything in the healthiest way, which I think was part of the message for this video. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion - and I definitely didn't want to start a fight. I hope I didn't offend anyone with this edit. Keep it civil, and have a nice day!

    Honestly I support that one should always follow their dreams and passions, but here I definitely support the mom's views. Being on computers and gadgets the whole day, even during dinner time, and the parents had to pay for all their subscriptions and all, it doesn't look nice. At least have one proper meal with your family. They do so much for us ,the least we can do is help them around the house and spend time with them. Plus they can focus on their dreams after they get their own job or something.

    I'm on both sides for this one. While I understand that we should support our kids' dreams, spending so much time playing video games every day that you can't even eat dinner together is unhealthy, and it seems like the mom has been dealing with this for a while. Besides, I've had things taken away for much longer than that and it's not like I'm the only one out there who can agree with that. It's also a tough situation with them all asking for money -- make your own if you want to use it for something like that. There are plenty of ways to make money in this world, even at such a young age.

    my kid, 13 years old, sent me this video when i get mad at him playing with his tablet 6 hours straight after class... i hope this story inserted something like pursuing your passion with "limitation". now, my kid thinks that he can skip dinner just to play because it is his passion, put his headset on and do not want to hear any of my words... his eyes were red, very late to sleep and skips meal just to play this game... everytime i told him to have limitation on gadgets, he always send this link... dont get me wrong, i love everything about @DharMann, i followed him in youtube and in facebook, always watches his videos, but this time, i think i dont agree fully on the message... another question on my mind, for example, 100 kids push on their passion, what is the percentage of that 100 kids will be successful? how about those kids that their parents dont have the means to push on their passion?

    In a way I can relate to the mum, despite me being 14 right now, because phone addiction is very annoying. However, everyone deserves time to relax and have maybe the evening on their phone and she did give them time. But I agree they can’t have it 24/7. Going outside is such a blessing and I love walking around the land in autumn and socialising with nature

    I’m on both sides. Parents need to set rules before the electronics are given and stick to the rules. Homework first; meal times together; put down games at 10 pm (or whatever) and go to bed. Grades in school should reflect you’re doing what’s required of your teachers. Children need to abide by the boundaries set by parents. Nothings wrong with the electronics. I’m on one now writing this message. It’s necessary to set boundaries with the children while they are young. It won’t hurt em. Mom on video tried to set boundaries AFTER she let it go too far. So it was hard for her to understand what her children tried to convey because they reacted to her negativity. Loved the ending. I cried.

  • @haycwon
    @haycwon2 жыл бұрын

    The mom was reasonable at first. The kids overextended her tolerance by not listening to her orders, ignoring her, asking more and more of her, and not wanting to spend time with her. It’s clear the mom wants to have quality family time but her kids won’t get off their devices to spend just a little of their time with their mom. The mom should support their dreams but they shouldn’t expect to get subscriptions and game currencies when they’re low on bills. Plus they didn’t see what they did wrong. If you have the audacity to play Minecraft in school and then blame adults when you get told to get off, you should readjust your priorities. They both should be more understanding.

Kids shouldn't be on screens all the time because its not good for brain development, and that kids should do what their parents say right away with no talk back because its disrespectful. But I also think that gaming and computer work can be a career and parents should support them. Since some of y'all are getting confused, I'm not saying that you cant be on screens all I said was that blatant DISOBEDIENCE is disrespectful, talking back with a reason tho is fine. And thats just ME with MY parents, no need to get feisty. I just said I was on BOTH SIDES.

    Honestly, I kinda agree with the mom. She was just looking out for her kids. Playing video games for hours upon hours every single day is physically, mentally, and socially unhealthy for not just kids, but everyone. There are studies to prove this. It can also get really expensive for the parents when the kids constantly want to buy in-game items or packs with real money, as well as buying the actual games, and any upgrades or anything that might need to be added on to the device in order to play the game. In the video, the kids were being rude and slightly irresponsible, while they could’ve been a lot worse, many kids in real life do develop behavioral problems from video game addiction. Some are worse than others. And feeding the addiction by telling them they could get lots of money from playing video games one day, which is possible though extremely unlikely, is not a good thing to do. And by painting the mother as the villain, it just feeds the narrative even more. In conclusion, kids should not be allowed to play video games for more than an hour a day, they should be given chores and responsibilities and playing their video games should be a privilege that they must earn by helping around the house, doing good in school, respecting their parents and others, etc. I know that these days, you can get jobs involving or revolving around electronics and video games, but those are not the only jobs. People still need to be writers, bakers, plumbers, construction workers, office workers, teachers, business managers, realtors, and so much more. Video games are not and will, hopefully, never be the end all be all.

    Kids should have to earn the right to play video games for hours on end, not be forbidden to do it altogether. Playing games for hours upon hours for two days in a row, or during a holiday might be okay. That is if there’s nothing else to do.

    @@davidhill8565 I think you kinda missed my point. Playing video games for hours on end is not good for anyone for obvious reasons. It’s not good for your spine, your eyes, and other parts of your body including your brain and thought process. Kids should be able to earn their screen time, but their screen time should not be unlimited. It can also screw with their social development depending on the video games being played.

To be honest she could have talked to her children about how spending too much time on video games isn't good for you and why it's not good for you instead of complaining that they didn't want to do anything productive.

    I feel so annoyed with this honestly, if I am going to be honest. The parent is in the right. Playing video games isn’t something “bad”. But the chance of making money from a game is unbearably unlikely to the point where it is around a 2 in 10 chance. Playing games is not stable. I really think that the parent is in the right. I am ok with people playing games but, this much. It’s just too much. And yet again way too melodramatic parents. They are going crazy. As well as the students being crazy addicted, this is way too much. Her cutting them off is completely fine and if they are that addicted to screens. There isn’t really a lesson to learn, if the kids are doing too much. All of the kids looks like they are in the mid to late teens and yet again they are acting like 5 year olds. Honestly, there isn’t really a “moving story” or “lesson” to learn. I know people are gonna be yelling at me for hating Dhar Mann. I don’t hate him, he’s not my favorite and I don’t particularly like him either. But I don’t hate him, I am just simply showing my opinion. You can agree, or disagree.

Good if the kids are making money, but it’s not alright to get mad at your parents for trying to help you. im editing this to clarify i didn’t mean that it just automatically gives you health issues. just over time if it’s a constant addiction something can come out of it.
