I can't believe she left the salon with that previous set, literally all of them are different and all are bubbly and bumpy
They look absolutely gorgeous. I am not throwing shade at anybody. But for a professional nail tech to think that the other set looked good is just not right.

My brother and dad are the only ones in our family who have perfect, envy worthy nails. My nails are like construction paper, so they always bend and break. Like I didn't even know that break a nail could hurt until I started doing my own polygel.
So pretty! The marble nails look like berries and cream hard candies.

Hi, Anastasia! I am not a nail technician, just an ordinary girl that wanted to learn how to take care of her own cuticles. And I want to tell you that I learned so much from your videos. I first just had cuticle scissors and always got hangnails! Later I bought orange sticks, then a super cheap nail drill that couldn't rotate. Then a better nail drill that rotated but with cheap drill bits that had no abrasive marking. Then a separate set of drill bits, and eventually, also a metal pusher. So little by little, I finally gathered everything I need for the perfect cuticle care and my nails are finally looking perfectly done. And these are things I had no way of learning if it weren't for videos like yours. Thank you!

I hear you! My nail drill doesn’t turn🤦🏻♀️ I should have invested but I didn’t know if I could actually do it. Even with the bad drill my nails look better than that first set. I’m shopping for a better drill that won’t break my bank 😆

All that lifting 🤦🏻makes me wonder if that set was a DIY gone wrong😝 thank you for another great informative video!🥰💕💕💕💅💅
Another nail service example that reminds me of the remodel of our (older) house: you have to peel away layers to find out what’s really going on underneath! Thanks for another informative video.
Her natural nail bed looked very nice. I’d have done the same thing with that much lifting and damaged free edge. Hope you are well and staying safe. ❤️❤️❤️

wow those turned out so pretty! I love the colors, they look like candy. I have ski slope nails like your client and as much as I'd like to grow them out, my nails just look better and are more sturdy when I use extensions. I wish I was 'genetically blessed' like you said, but oh well! I'll just be happy with my extensions!
So pretty
She had gorgeous natural nail bases. But you made those nails impeccable. Simple, elegant with a pop.. great job with polygels. I want to love them (using them) but I was Creative Nail ( acrylics) back in 1989, when well here in NYS you had to hold a cosmetology license with a piggyback of nail technician license in order to do nails. I did not continue with cosmology, but was grandfathered in to do nails. Try as I may I struggle on myself to perfect polygel. You make it seem effortless yet your nails are just gorgeous each and every time. Kudos.
Gurl you are so pretty 🤩 I’ve never seen your face before until now
Perfection!
So beautiful
I have tried to grow out my own nails but I cannot. I am the opposite of genetically blessed. My nails have always been so thin that they do not break they peel and tear. So gel extensions are the only way I can have long lovely. Maybe someday when I can afford some decent acrylics I can learn to do acrylic extensions too.
Beautiful 😍

I have hard gel extensions 24.5 mm long. I injured three nails opening a cabinet door- I learn lesson and should use side of finger with nails that long. I removed the extensions very carefully. The nail beds are sensitive. Only one nail actually ripped off the nail bed and it has a red mark near the cuticle. I left it overnight to see if it turned black. It didn’t. I am trying to learn more about if it’s not recommended to put the extensions back on. I have a full set both hands of this length and I’m feeling strange with the missing nails. I am used to the long ones. I’m trying to get an idea of when it’s a bad idea or a good idea to protect the nail. Your videos are so helpful! Most people would just lie to take your money.
Great job using polygel
thank you for continuing with your videos. I have just started my nail tech journey and I find your explanation videos so valuable.
So much better.
I have naturally SUPER thin nails and I do extensions all the time because of that... Gel polish is chipping after few days because they bend too much in both way XD
Hello! I'm new to your channel and became a huge fan right away, your videos are so calming and educational. You inspired me to get my first nail extensions at 30 yrs old after never being able to grow out my natural nails, and I'm so in love with my nails now!!! If you (or anyone else who can help me) happen to see this comment, I was wondering if you could talk more about the eponychium. I googled the term and saw a lot of medical diagrams. Most of them labeled the eponychium as the part that you, me, and my nail techs remove, however the medical diagrams said that part is living tissue and should not be removed. The only part labeled as cuticle/dead tissue, was the bits of skin adhered to the nail that grow out and are usually pushed back, and also the free edge of hangnails. I'm really confused and I don't know which parts are okay to push back/remove and which I should leave alone. I'm super thankful to whoever who can help me out here, now I'm worrying that I've been damaging my nails.
@jaxbrooks5821

I've been thinking about this as well, as clean looking a dry manicure looks, I wonder at the damage over time. The seal of the nail is being broken time and time again and the eponychium will compensate by growing thicker. I've noticed this on quite a few tech videos, the cuticles require more work and are very thick, much more build up of skin and dust from the removal. Yes, the cuticle is the skin that grows over the nail, it has to be removed for a product to adhere properly, otherwise you will get lifting. I use a cuticle remover to get rid of the non-living tissue, Blue Cross works very well for this :) It has to be washed off after use as it is a mild acid. Have a read of Doug Schoon, he's very knowledgable about nail health.
Wonderful ....normally for how long it stay
Honestly the marble nail hits different when matte!!
Hi Anastasia! I noticed something recently. I can't watch videos with audio most of the time so I need to use subtitles. However, in your videos the nails are often exactly in the part of the screen that is covered by subtitles so I can't see what you're doing! I hope you will be able to adjust the framing a little bit in the future so that I and people who need to rely on closed captions will be able to see what you're doing clearly ❤️

Hello, you can move the subtitles. When you activate them, you can go over them with your curser and just drag them around with the left mousebutton. I just tried it this second and it works. I think that helps you atleast a little bit. :)

These nails look so much better on her
What cleanser after the base or after buffing??is it alcohol or just water??
What brand of dual forms are these that you used to do this set?
Does dual forms exist for people with wide/large nailbeds
What is the bit you are using to remove her gel polish? Where can I purchase? I didn't find it on your links? Please and thank you. 😊
Bellissime👏👏👏
Hi! I was just wondering, do you need both dehydrator and primer?
@Nailcou
Жыл бұрын
yes
What’s your favorite carbides that you use in removing acrylic and gel polishes?😊
Could you tell me the difference between rubbing in the basecoat vs applying a thin layer? I'm using a new brand that tells me to rub it in before applying another product.. I know how to do that, but i am wondering what would happen if I don't rub it in
Anastasia I'm thinking... It's possible to apply a layer of polgel in her natural nails, do almond shape and apply hard gel before?? In that way she can keep your nail growth... Sorry I'm from Venezuela, English isn't my birth language
I will do a fill over someone's work but I don't guarantee it won't lift or break since I don't know what products were used, or if any important steps were skipped during prep.
Maybe it's because I'm not a nail tech, but I just don't understand why some people get so attached to keeping the length of their real nails instead of just doing extensions. Very few people have those "perfect" nails that look good long. And there's soooooooo much more that can be done with extensions design-wise. 🤷♀️

Agree... Not in a malicious and mean way at all, but I don't know why anybody would want to keep their thin, cracking, weirdly shaped natural nails. They'll never survive a day on their own so I don't get the point of keeping them, they're just going to break if you don't do a strengthening overlay which just makes them look a lot like extensions... Natural nails are so, so overrated.

This is what my nails looked like when I decided to stop going to the salon and started doing it myself 😂I’m much better at it now, but it’s way more time consuming to DIY and not practical for me so I’ll be headed back to the salon soon.
With the uncured gel underneath could you have popped it under the lamp for 60 sec to then be able to use the drill??
Lordy, the set you removed was....interesting! Great job. I'm so sad that you've started saying 'coming up'. I miss your lovely 'comen up'! Xx
