In this car the parking brake won't release and/or the transmission can't be shifted into neutral if the engine won't start? Or the parking brake automatically sets itself electronically if you try to push or tow the vehicle ?

I have a 2013 , and have e few things go bad! But none of the stuff they were talking about has happened to me. And I Uber with 150,000 !!

2016 here, bought new. 185k on it now. Three rear evaporators, one front evaporator, struts, power brake booster, headlight, OnStar module, torque converter, temp sending unit, and timing cover seal. All in the first 5 years, except one rear evaporator. The extended warrantee paid over $14500 in repairs. I paid a couple grand more out of pocket. I'll drive it till it quits, but it will be my last GM product, after over 35 years of driving them !

My 2019 Acadia Denali with 29,000 miles and the Park sensor on transmission is bad keeps saying place in park when it already is in park.

I bought a new 2019 GMC Acadi Denali $53,000 @ 32,000 miles trans locked up. They kept the car for 4. Weeks . I did without car for 10 days, but I finally had to rent one. GM said they will reimburse me, but it will take 4 to 6 weeks . Now I think I'm getting signs that the thermostat issue is starting. Oh amost forgot already had the shift to park isue too.😢

Take it back get a newer Ford Explorer Like Im gonna do, way more reliable vehicles, cops use them so they must be good, and I also have a buddy that has a 2015 Ford Explorer for 3 yrs and only had to replace headlight bulbs

Our 2017 Acadia 3.6 V6 had a failed thermostat. Major issue to replace it, you have to remove the top end of the engine to replace a $120 dollar part, $740.00 mostly labor. Very poor design. Change the stat in a SB V8 in 30 minutes without dismantling the top end of the engine. OH, and the parts are on a national back-order list, that's right parts not available. Luckly, I have a friend at a Chevy dealership that was able to acquire the parts for us.

I have a 2016 Acadia and has 89,000 miles and i have it in shop and they have to put a new transmission and is gone coast 7500 this bullllllllll 💩🤷‍♂️🙈

What are the regulations on airbag deployment for 2023 acadia at4? Mine was involved in a front end accident at 30mph and no airbags deployed even with the airbag sensors broke off.

Video help along little too late but other issues to look for had to fix transmission steering wheel hard to turn dashboard lights go off turn on off and on more off nice suv but costly gmcsuv 2007 thank you

My 2023 i brought in July has a oil leak at 4700 miles. Currently in the shop. 2 nd time too. First was the hill assist went crazy. Currently has spent more time in the shop than in use almost. Threw zero codes too with either. None.. actually sprewed oil out due to valve bladder cogged...just had the oil changed a month ago for the first time.

You waited 4700 miles to change your oil? That's the problem. Every 3000 miles or 3 months which ever comes first That's from a 57 year Master Mechanic. It's not the Vehicle fault but the owner neglect and lack of proper maintenance. 💮

My advice is buy the GM extended warrantee. Saved us a fortune over 5 years ! Shop around, some dealers are a lot cheaper than others. You can add it up to the 36k bumper to bumper expires.

Is the manufacturer the problem: yes. However the lack of DIYers and mechanically incline people who overwhelm mechanics inturn giving more bussines increasing demand causes to raise prices. Of people were te get in there and buy the parts, buy a javk and a tool set. You can save the thousands by doing the simple work.

If you buy anything but a 4 cylinder vehicle your a very uneducated buyer.

Had a 2016 Acadia. Every couple months it was a thousand dollars for this, two thousand dollars for that. Finally my transmission went after frequent maintenance. Never buying a GMC again! Honda....I'm coming back!

General motors cannot build a nice car even without no problem every time they have problems... My friends is better to buy a Dodge or Toyota or Mazda in the wrong run it saves your money if they can't build a quality car don't miss your money hard and money on them
