I have a problem with interrupting people, and I’m trying to fix it. I feel like such a jerk when I do it and the other person tells me to talk first. And then if they forget what they were going to say beforehand, I cry internally. My closest friends know me well enough to talk over me if I interrupt them because they know it’ll help learn not to, lol.

I feel you. So I made up kind of a standard answer: "things that would make a priest blush..." Always works ;)

The biggest problem for an Introvert is their school or job that you can't run away from. I can't speak to one person so I rather stay home hungry than than go to the store and everyone expect me to stay in a room with 20 to 30 people 6 days a week . I am loving the lock down 👍.

This almost happened to me once! I'm not kidding. The expression on my face and the unending awkward silence made my friend see reason and the wedding did happen after all. I was sitting in the back. I was also the only one without a plus one. And the first one to leave when they started dancing. Why people dance? Why do they get married? Haven't they watched Al Bundy? It never turns out well.

My mom asked me the other day if I was as noisy as I am at home when she wasn't around and I said I don't know. Truth is, I am noisier when I was the only person at home but since it's quarantine she can't help but work at home. She said she could hear me from three rooms away and who was I talking to. I usually talk to the comics and books I read or talk to myself in the mirror since that is how I fill up my social needs. 😆

I start talking lonely when I read my history lessons, don't ask why but I always end up laughing even when I'm fucking reading how many people died I'm WW2.... these conversations with myself are like the best ones.

It had happened to me on the bus line to be right behind someone I know but I don't want to make small talk with. My game is to look the exact opposite way till the bus arrives so I NEVER make eye contact and pretend to be surprised when I'm seen getting on the bus.

When you start hearing out their problems sometimes (got unlucky with "friendship) it never stops and they end up leaving you saying you are egoist and never help them while you're just awkward and have a hard time showing emotions...

i really wish i had more introvert friends. unfortunately, as an introvert i have trouble maintaining relationships so all my friends are extroverts because only extroverts are able to break through my introverted shell.

All of these are completely accurate, with the exception of the “coming out of the shell.” Older you get, the less you lie about that, and you know it’s never gonna happen.

The older I get, the more content I feel alone. It gives me so much more power that I can actually go out and talk to people. I don't even think it's the people that I dislike, it's the general norms of relationships, that interactions are supposed to be rushed, loud, shallow and busy. Why can't we just emerge into our existential loneliness in the company of someone else?

I even if my red hair and pail skin looks otherwise ....have Cherokee blood ..and I have seen a pic of my great great grandmother she was half Cherokee...I look like so much like her..I have.high cheekbones and a ..not sure how to explane it ..but a turned down mouth..so I look sad or mad to others when I am not..It's just the way I look..I have Cherokee blood on both my mothers and fathers side..so it is who I am and I am proud to have it..I do have Scottish and German blood as well..

Katia Castillo legends say it is possible for a human being to genuinely be okay with last minute change of plans, partying and regular socializing. Our introverted folk was banned from using these incredible powers a long time ago, sadly.

Solution: Use the Do Not Disturb 🌙 function. You will miss all calls thus you will tell the truth when you say you missed the call. Take it from an INTP looking for solutions to minimize social disturbances. An by social disturbances I mean someone speaking to me.
