This was a cool video. I used to operate an acoustic scoring system and we launched balloons using the same radiosondes depicted for upper atmosphere measurements to get temp and wind direction for 3d solutions. The data would stream in via another program and at a certain height but after stoping the recording we could start another one to simply track the balloon. We tracked it until we lost signal, which was pretty interesting.

Don't forget this aint cheap and Marks budget comes from a YT channel bringing in a lot of dole per month. So yeah its impressive, but most of us would have to quit at this due to selling the house at some point or not knowing the rocket dude or literal NASA people etc.

The contraption looks cute and now I’m thinking of doing da same thing it is sooo unpredictable.
I designed one that I guarantee would survive. But in fairness, I modeled it partially after the impact system the Sojourner used mixed with the human brain’s method of being surrounded by fluid.
I feel like you are probably the only person to ever accidentally almost make a precision guided missile, let alone whilst trying to make an egg survive going to space. Well done, these are always so interesting and funny.
