When I was in Grade 4 (in Canada), my teacher, Mr.Johnson(a pureblood Canadian) once brought up this topic to discuss - "If I put an Indian and a Pakistani right next to each other, and I was told to choose and shoot the Indian in the next 30 seconds, I would have preferred shooting myself. Oh no, not because I was a Good Samaritan or anything! But because my brain would have become too jumbled, trying to distinguish between the two persons. LOL."

Once I was on a flight from London to JFK and found a Pakistani next me. After exchanging pleasantries, the talk was mostly focused on how is India and how is Pakistan and mostly general about culture, education, economy and so on. Some where in the midst of our conversation on religion popped up. I said I am not deeply religious, but do respect others and at times go to place of worship accompanying others. Neither against nor for. And then started his sermon why it is important to be religious and asked me to read Quran, for which I respectfully declined. But the fact is, it was close to 7 hours of flight and at every opportunity he wanted to convince me about his religion. Even though, I did not find any fault in him, I felt that in Pakistan it is drilled into them so much that everything they do is linked to their religion. I may be wrong in my assumption.

@@ZohaibMasood1 In every line, muslims say 'Alhamdulliah, Subhanallah and Inshallah', even when they know that the person with whom they are talking is non-Muslim. I remember once I was traveling back to my home in North Carolina, USA from my maternal cousin's house in Muscat. During that journey, a Pakistani Punjabi muslim was sitting next to me. He had kajal in his eyes, his moustache was shaved and his long bushy beard was orange. We were having small talk in candid manner. He was continuously preaching Quranic verses and greatness of Prophet Muhammad, even though he was realising that I was not interested at all. After sometime, he began cursing Hindus for their pluralistic way of worship & adornment of cows.

+Desi Obama this is what is happening to them, this story was told by a anonymous source on quora, when someone asked how it is to be a hindu in pakistan. I am a Hindu, used to live in mithi, (sindh - pakistan), probably the only town in pakistan with hindu majority . It was 2005, My neighbor (my best muslim friends) had their daughter's wedding some time in December. Knowing the pitiful condition of non-islamic people in Pakistan I decided against taking my kids to the function, I myself wouldn't have gone had it not been for their special request. I along with my wife went to the party, being the outcast no-one really bothered talking to us, we saw their ritual being performed, gave gifts to bride and groom, after having our dinner we decided to get back early, kids had their exams next day. While we were walking back to the garage in the basement, all of a sudden someone put a strong rope round my neck, trying to suffocate me, with such sudden attack I couldn't keep up neither see who they were. I fainted, once I was awake I found myself lying in some desert area with nothing in vision. I felt immense pain, as if having been beaten. I could not stand up that entire day, struggled to walk by the dawn , somehow reached nearby highway by next morning and managed to get a lift. I reached my home that evening, only to find all my belongings robbed, even the plastic chairs and TV set were gone, my children had been beaten too, I could not find my wife there. I reached out to my neighbors, but most of them had gone to pay visit to their wedding counterparts unaware of what happened to us. I went to the police station to file a complain against the attack and disappearance of my wife. They didn't seem too interested in filing complain, they asked me to wait for a few days, made abusive comments on my wife that she might have fled with her lover and having pleasure with him. I fought for her dignity which only led to being jailed for that whole night. Never saw my wife again, never knew what happened to her.

Was looking forward and must say not at all disappointed :) Good Job and good people on screen!

after a few minutes it's difficult to make out who's Indian and Pakistani.

You told the differences between Pakistan and India.. and i love that. I request you to made a video on "how to minus politics" which causes issues again and again between these two countries. We were "1" before separation but after 1947 we are like broken magnet.

They should ask, why there is no punjabi literature in pakistan. Reason islam don't like native language.The reality is pakistani are hindus but non of them will say there ancestors wer HINDUS ,bcoz they think hindu hona is like DEVIL WORSHIPING.If pakistan relate to hinduism it will have more to connect then ARAB ISLAM.The main reason pakistan is lagging behind is that they abandon their real identity that is HINDUISM.Now they are not connected to arab by history nor HINDUISM.So they try to make up things.On the people to people level.You will never find anything opposite.Bcoz its basically same people .Its just that muslims dont want to accept that they wer forcefully converted and made to hate HINDUS.

i really appreciate what mkb tried to do with this video. seriously i too agree that its the policies and the norms of the society that have created a minute difference between the two communities. other than that, its very hard to tell the difference.

I feel you brother. We have all want peace and money diverted to betterment of people's lives than arms and ammunition. And Media of portrayal of hate is not true. There is ingrained sense of helplessness for citizens of both sides when peace is not met when its a dire necessity. We will work towards better, we are friend's Love from India..

i think India is a much better place to live. I have been to both the places n it seems Pakistan is a country with narrow minded people. religion religion religion cricket :P :D ...But India is more like US ,,,variety in skin color, languages, thoughts, still so many different people living together peacefully, n they accept a foreigner as their own. NO INTENTION TO HURT ANY ONE but i also don't like terrorism and we all know pakistan supports a large no. of terrorist groups.
