Me too. I wish they could just have a happy ending because they both deserve it for butting away their happiness for that long. But even the books doesn't give them a happy ending cry😢. Fingers crossed maybe the TV series will be different and grant then a happy loving ending

Loved all the stuff in the white tower the way the Aes Sedai work with the Amyrlin Seat, and love the complex relationship Moarine has when she's there

This may sound like lame. But back when I was a kid when I was learning about "women" i use to think Is erotic seeing two girls kiss. But now as adult because of all the stuff that Is happening Is becoming Normal. At least for me.

This is one of the biggest errors that a lot of studios and producers these days do when doing book-to-screen adaptations. They need to stop changing stories that have already been written to fit what is “modern” of they want that they need to make their own story.
Did I miss a book? Or is this more fan fiction?

Its heavily implied in the books. Especially New Spring. Moiraine and Suiane were 'Pillow Friends'. I hope the implication doesn't need further explanation.

@@meghanakarkadasuresh6387 oh I know that. But there was no romantic relationship between them in the books, and now in the show they are making it as if they are in love. I would have had no problem if they implied they had a history, but this is too big of a change and makes me think they are going to cut both of these characters book romances

I wasn't a big fan of this whole Moraine & Amerlyn Seat romance subplot. Just hope that the showrunners & writers don't change who Moraine actually ends up with in the books. That being said, I cannot wait for Season #2 of The Wheel of Time. Unlike that other Amazon fantasy show, The Wheel of Time does a much better job of adapting its own source material, not a perfect adaptation but definitely infinitely better than that other show. Better writing & better cast too.

I have no idea why Jordan felt the need to give (as far as I recall) _everyone_ a romance subplot... and Moraine's feels particularly tacked on.

I dunno, he seemed to have a thing about "pillow friends". Genuinely would not be surprised if the publisher told him lesbians were a no-go. That's clearly speculation on my part, but I think it fits with the general 90's mindset.

That the term "pillowfriends" meant lesbian lovers went over your head when you read the books, didn't it? This scene in particular is not in the books, but it's completely in line with existing relationships in the books. And it's a pretty good scene.

Its sad to see them take a great book series and ruin it hopefully with the writers strike theyll hire someone who can do the books justice but not count on it

This show was awful on its own, but good god it did even worse as a WoT adaptation.
