Moriain and Suian relationship reveal was so well done and unexpected to me that I had to pause to catch my breath 😂 the way I felt Moraine giddiness about the meeting when I wasn't even understanding what was about to happen give me such a wonderful insight of her as a character and how deeply she love, that made the exile, even if necessary more heartbreaking, I was so invested that to me it was like a wedding vow, and had to stop again lol...I hope this will stay canon till the very end because the chemistry Sophie and Rosamund have is off the roof 🔥🔥🔥

In the grand picture of everything the relationship is meaningless, the exile was not necessary, the acting was good I can't fault it since this was a scene they were meant to convey but seriously THE end of the world is around the corner and this is what we focus on. For emotional people I can understand appeal but for solving the problem it's wasteful. Won't comment on validity of couple in the books or their sexual orientation but I honestly thought they were using this super powerful teleportation item for a better reason than secret love affair which honestly doesn't need to be a secret since in a tower with mostly women, I'm sure other such relationships are common

We may be a little salty because the books are so well written, they're epic. So yes, I expect the same from the show writers otherwise why even bother? They have a lot of source material it would be nice if they used more of it. I understand it's an adaptation but they're wasting precious time by filling each episode with mundane, teenager type crap that hold zero value to the story and omitting the brilliance of the books. They should remember they have a show with millions of fans because of the books.

Moiraine and Siuan did have a romantic relationship when they were novices in the books. That’s not the writers now making them bisexual but Robert Jordan. There was always a deep affection between them in the books as well so they took what Jordan implied and brought it to live. This was not surprising for me AT ALL. And honestly the only reason this even causes so much attention is because it’s two women. No one’s talking about Rand and Egwene having a relationship from the beginning. No one gives a sh*t about Lan and Nyneave not behaving exactly the way they did in the books. Wishing all the homophobes super uncomfortable moments during the next 7 seasons✌️

Lol you have been googling and searching in all the wrong places if after all your research, you liked this episode. Moraine isn't lesbian, even the writer himself explicitly stated as much, those two were close friends. Moraine isn't the focal person in the books, the political intrigue was beyond lame and each issue could be easily solved if they didnt want to force certain outcomes, I say this because the women in the book were much smarter and eloquent then these trash writers can pull off.

@Anne Day this is a problem of trying to develop too many characters, too quickly. The things that happened with Egwene and Perrin, the Tower politics surrounding Nynaeve, were all back-burnered so we could get an hour of the Siuan Sanche show. Perrin traumatized from torture, hulking out, wolves, and now he's peacefully napping?

@Anne Day Stepin at least existed as a narrative device. He gave us some exposition, while being a replacement for a lot of introspection. Between Nynaeve and Lan, Lan and Moiraine, Nynaeve and the Tower, while also showing us the true intensity of the Warder bond. He did a lot of heavy lifting, but didn't need to be developed. Some might say he was fridged, but I disagree.

My Opinion: Just want to put it out there, you guys blew the Way Gate's design. They weren't supposed to need the One Power to actuate, (as certain characters that can not channel use them). Plus, they're located on the edge of Steddings, where the One Power can't be wielded. Requiring the One Power for them creates a continuity issue with the story later on. Plus, there are a few areas like this one where you're doing the Ogier a disservice by not making things like the Way Gates and other Ogier "sung" structures as organic looking, albeit made of stone, as they are in the books. Haven't seen episode 7 yet where we'll see the Ways, but I think you also missed a great opportunity for an amazing and striking visual by having the Way bridges arching and spiraling in a stark white contrast against an utterly black background. Kind of like the bridges we see leading from land to your Tar Valon, (which again isn't as organic as it should have been, even though it's still impressive in your current design).

I enjoyed the first five episodes. I didn't like this one. It felt like while pretty much everything was new content in the first five episodes, they were mostly staying within the world that RJ built. This episode did not. I don't want to spoil anything, but the way the ways are portrayed completely contradicts their entire purpose in the books. I just can't get past this one. The use of a forth oath on the Oathrod just wouldn't happen in that situation. You have a 10 year old girl poling herself 2000 miles up a river by herself... This episode just went completely off the rails. I hope episode seven is good enough to make me forget that this ever happened.

I hate that the actress who plays Moraine doesn't know a thing about the character or has clearly not even read 1 book of the series. This is game of thrones season 7/8 level idiocy, where things are done for the visual spectical not for story reasons. Waygates are supposed to be by ruins and hidden. I wonder how the idiot writers will explain the trollocs and shades using waygates to travel and attack the two rivers if they need magic to open, in the books that wasn't the case but here it's changes so women can be given yet another thing. That comment from Rafe is fundamentally untrue, it is NOT clear at all in the main line books that there is a romantic relationship at all. Sure they were pillow friends in the New Spring novel, but I get no romantic vibe at all when Siuan was first introduced in the books or thereafter. This is gay washing. I don't mind it that much so long as it has bearing on the story line and isn't box checking, but Rafe should just own that decision instead of dissembling.

If the relationship is so secret between Suian and Morraine then why do we have her saying what she did on the oath rod surely in a hall filled with Aes Sedia they would overhear that and know something was going on. Secondly please stop with the dragon could be female it completely messes with the story if the dragon was female and not subject to siadar then they are not going to go mad. I didn't mind some of the changes that add to the story but mess around with it too much and you no longer have Wheel of time but something that's only loosely based on it over 90 million people bought the books stop thinking you know how to write it better. There is so much wrong with this already that fans of the books are angry with. I get that it has to be condensed for the screen but quit adding fluff just to tick boxes. The idea that Morraine would leave Matt behind does not make any sense to the story at this point she does not know who the Dragon is so why would she go to the eye of the world without one of them, Perhaps you should have had healing Matt change him so you could have used different actor after the healing of the Dagger if original actor left during filming and why not stick to book and have it that it needed several Aes Sedia to heal him changes just for the sake of making changes to the books alter the story and the fans of the books don't want that look at most of the comments from book fans.
