In real life, the Mahan class were capable of launching a massive 16-torpedo salvo, using the gyro angle capability of the Mk.15 torpedo: the ship would sail directly towards the target, with the tubes angled out 45°. As each torpedo was launched it would turn onto the desired target angle. A division of six Mahans could, in theory, shoot 96 torpedoes simultaneously without the need to turn broadside to the enemy. As a practical matter, this was seldom attempted in battle, because the Mk.XV was not accurate with large gyro angles, and because, unlike World of Warships, destroyers didn't get infinite torpedo reloads. In fact, the 1500-ton Mahans didn't carry reloads at all.

Playing DDs at T7 without radar is such a breath of fresh air for me.

Tier 6 and 7 DD's really suffer since you get tier 8 games a lot! so concealment module tier 8 DD's, tier 8 subs and carriers all just crush you.

I don't play this game. I don't have twitch. I live in Australia and your uploads come right before bed time. Really enjoy them. Please don't stop youtube uploads.

Hatsu did the smart thing after losing most of his hp. Though he underestimated enemies and died in a stupid way in the end

Bruh that Hatsuharu's brain just outright stopped working. He saw you going back and instead of getting the cap and creating a torpedo crossfire, he followed you too late and nearly lost the game on purpose. What a player base.

hatsuharu showed what was to be expected.

Awh beautiful Mahan - one of my most favorite ships in wows. Due to matchmaking I prefer Farragut however. Fighting T9's is not that much fun in this. Even T8's are nothing to take lightly despite the dpm of this ship.

well coordinated dd play, outstanding.

This why I like playing DD. As long as you have one on your team you can win.

Mahann is not for everybody. There is a way to play this DD, and is not just going straight to the cap, smoking and die. His 9 klm torps are great, his far-range guns 14klm, ITS ONE OF MY FAVORITE DD

I don't understand why neither hatsu or flambino didn't cap A sooner when reds were capping C. It was open and safe to do so.

I can understand it. It's immediately going to announce where you are and that Scharnhorst can move pretty quickly when it needs to. That said, Hatsu should definitely have taken the risk - even contesting it for a bit and running away would have helped the points situation more than getting trapped and murdered.

Well, you shot at him! The possibility is that he would back up. If you just let the torps run they may have hit, but no, you have to shoot at him and force him back. Great gameplay at the end.

Anyone else got the impression as well that Flambino often times lets team mates die the last minute only caring for himself? I mean, this works but I wouldn't wanna be that DD he watched being murdered at 5:33 or the cruiser on 2 Brothers yesterday.

what exactly did you want him to do in that scenario? hatsu turned the wrong way not using cover and deployed smoke way too late, they could have avoided most of the damage from Duke if they had played it better. If Flambass doesn't preserve his HP there he doesn't survive to the end of the battle.

You are type of person who follow someone make mistake huh? If flambass go he might dead due to doy secondary, not mentioning doy gun ready. Hatsu actually can go from front and make cross fires torps, also this can distrack doy focus, which kill flambass and let hatsu alive with full health but she goes like that

@@petergplus6667 secondary man, doy has secondary. you think those secondary cant do shit? Secondary AI will shot the nearest enemy if dont use the secondary perk. He already near 1/3 of his hp, he might die there also doy has hydro he provide spotting with 2km spotting (forget the name), doy wont spotted if flambass dont do it. If you watch carefully, when doy low, he has teammate to deal the damage. He let his teammate do the job. If you watch carefully and use your brain a bit, just a bit, you will understand why he did that and why hatsuharu make mistake there which flambass doesnt wanna follow to make mistake.

How do you get 14 commander points at T7? Asking for a friend.

Since it's a F2P account with few ships retained (he has port slots open if he only has 9 ships in port including Oleg and S43 which came with their own) I'm guessing he transferred his Des Memes captain over rather than starting from lvl1 or 6 for this line.

He has tons of commander xp. You can transfer a 21Pt cpt. commander at any tech tree ship of the same nation at the cost of commander xp.

@@alphax4785 I am a F2P player too. I always use commander XP or Free XP to transfer 21pt. commanders on ships especially if u want to play ranked.
