I can tell they are good friends in real life-they are very comfortable with each other on screen. I really like the way Nathan's character has become more fun the last couple of seasons.

I agree I love Nathan (Kevin) and Elizabeth (Erin). I love the whole show! I love the stories about faith, hope, love grace, forgiveness, redemption, justice, etc we get from Hope Valley!

Don't see any chemistry between Them. Elizabeth is trying too hard. Lucas seems to really love her, and that is more believable.

@@claudiabomicino1999 nope Lucas was a gambler, card trick player, and competitor. He saw Elizabeth as a prize to be won. He tried to change her into what he wanted her to be. He saw her as a potential trophy wife. I don't think it was ever true love for Lucas. For Elizabeth it was a safe, comfortable love because he could provide the type of lifestyle she grew up with living with her wealthy parents as a child/young adult in Hamilton.

@@claudiabomicino1999 Nathan and Elizabeth just have a mature relationship and you team Lucas fans don't understand it because you are used to the lustful garbage that JT fed you. The relationship Elizabeth and Nathan has is transitioning from a solid, strong friendship to a solid, strong romance. Yes, the writers have given us a slow burn, but that is because Elizabeth and Nathan have alot of responsibilities and can't just think of themselves. They are single parents and have their children to consider, their responsibility career wise, and they want to go slow to make sure they get it right! So, we are seeing this gentle, "Love Comes Softly" romance for Elizabeth and Nathan. Once the writers allow them to kiss and you see the physical part of their relationship you will realize Nathan and Elizabeth have chemistry!

Was so happy Nathan finally kissed Erin. Love Hallmark and all the characters played. But never felt Lucas was the one. And was completely surprised who shot him. What a thrilling show it was.

Erin usually has had hair on the shorter end..its naturally very curly. Elizabeth's hair is changing with the times and going from the long to the Bob cut of the 1920s. I like the fresh change. Also I'm sure erin is grateful to not have to wear hair extensions or wings anymore.😉

I like the short hair both in her real life and in the show. We are in the 1920's on WCTH now! Shorter hair was becoming a thing for women then.

Kevin and Erin are the best! I love them as actors! You can tell they are close friends in real life too! I love that Erin, Ben, Kevin and Kayla are such good friends! I so miss Fiona on WCTH too! Nathan and Elizabeth are magic to watch on our TV screens! I think it would be easier to create chemistry as an actor with your friend for your characters, Nathan and Elizabeth for the script written for you. Then it would be to try to create chemistry with an actor Hallmark hired that you don't know that well. So maybe that is why majority of hearties are team Nathan? We see the chemistry between Nathan and Elizabeth on our TV screens!

@@claudiabomicino1999 I don't know what show you have been watching, but the scenes with Lucas and Elizabeth were forced. It never looked like love. It looked like a lustful relationship at the most! Erin tried so hard on those scenes, but it just didn't work! Those beard chewing scenes were just gross! I think you will see the difference better once the writers let go of this slow burn and this gentle, "Love Comes Softly" romance picks up. Once they allow the physical part to happen with Elizabeth and Nathan you will see it.

Terrible storyline putting these two together. They have no chemistry so boring. Loved Jack, liked Lucas.

Kevin was really sweet in this interview talking about how he was blessed both professionally and personally (he met Kayla) on this show, WCTH. Also blessed by his friendship with Erin and Ben. There are a team of people who make decisions for the show the co-creators, producers, show runners etc that help to make a decision on the direction of the show. Erin might have had one voice as a producer, but I doubt Kevin as an actor got much choice for his character Nathan to be in a relationship with Erin's character Elizabeth or if it was Chris character Lucas that was going to be in a relationship with the character Elizabeth. Both Kevin and Chris followed scripts written for their characters. I don't think either actor, Kevin or Chris had a voice in the decision making process.

@@MichelleFerrell-qo7mo Yes the show, "When Calls the Heart" was a book originally written by Janette Oke in 1980's. It was always Elizabeth's story about meeting and following for a mountie. Elizabeth ended up married to the mountie in the book. He never died in the book. But when Daniel decided to leave the show. They killed of the character Jack. So the show took a different direction bringing two guys to Hope Valley. They figured Elizabeth wouldn't date the new mountie with her history with losing Jack That would be to scary. She was fearful.. She ended up having a friendship with Nathan. The writers had her with Lucas, the saloon owner first because that was a comfortable, safe choice and eventually they broke Elizabeth and Lucas up. I believe it was always the writers intentions to get back to be closer to the book about Elizabeth with a mountie. So. now she has another mountie that she's interested in romantically. It's a newer story as they are both single parents and they both have some tragic things that have happened in their life. But they are both people who are about serving their community and raising their kids to be good people.

Yes I know all that. I love the show. I like Elizabeth and Jack. Was disappointed when he was killed off but I really liked her and Lucas to. So we will see how it works for her and Nathan. I can’t wait.

I hope Chris leaves Hallmark!!!
