    I believe it's just an aggregate of people who voted, if you're unsure enough to not vote, you ain't counted in the figure.

    A guy on the USA version completely big brained Ask the Audience by leading the audience to an option he knew was wrong so all the guessers choose that option lol

    @@ilck-ym-blals7385 there was an instance in Nigeria when the contestant said "if you're not sure, don't vote" and 2 options had 0%, and as a result he went for the most popular answer which was still incorrect.

    No, this was a poor question, as the dictionary clearly has Sheet defined as a sail, as on a ship. It's also frequently used as the name of the rope that pulls the sail in, on a dinghy etc, so it has two meanings, both of which were answers. I bet they had complaints about it.

    @@michaelb2388 I think a good portion of the audience knew it as well, if they were just guessing, no way did nearly 20% say rope. That should have been a tell right there in terms of audience psychology.

    I’ve been studying knots, which is rife with a lot of sailing terminology, and even I didn’t know a sheet was a rope!

    A good tip to learn on all these multi choice questions is when in doubt go for the most obscure or unlikely answer, but only late on into the show. The earlier questions are the only ones with daft options.

    I know 1 good example of the former was Jim Matthew's million dollar 💵 question which of these nightly 🌙 news reporters began his career at age 9 hosting a children's radio 📻 show the audience was leaning towards option d Tom Brokaw but the correct answer was option a Peter Jennings he will be missed

    There’s certainly a pattern here, most or all the clips of the audience being wrong are after the contestant and has spoken about their instincts or after a phone a friend. You should ask the audience before uttering a word of what you think the answer might be

    UK Millionaire and other British quiz shows have a LOT of American history/politics questions. I hardy ever see it the other way around save the odd Jeopardy clue.

    I'm not completely sure as I don't remember but it's when a contestant walked away and the audience would have been wrong. I wanna say it's before Series 3 but I could be Series 4 but no later than that.

    3:11 was sure it was Stutz because a Stutz Bearcat was mentioned in the Simpsons 😂. . . I think it's in the episode with the trillion dollar bill. Don't the FBI tell Wiggum to look out for a Stutz Bearcat which Mr Burns is driving?

    That Red Ensign question is a bastard of a question because it 'used' to be the flag of the Royal Navy but was later adopted by the merchant navy. Of course the White Ensign is now the official flag of the Royal Navy. A stinker of a question especially for a £4000 question.

    My guesses: 0:40 - B 3:11 No idea, but I said B . 8:30 A, but I had no idea again. 10:13 Unsure but got a small feeling its D 13:50 Don't know but I went to A quite quickly. 17:26 B is the only one I've heard of. Probably B, might of gone for C. 19:34 B again. 22:25 Unsure. I guess C, but also leaning towards B I didni't get them all right, but anyway. Nor did the audience

    I only know the first question because my daughter had a fixation on Moana and there's a scene where Moana is told to pull the sheet. My gut was saying sail, so I understand the audience here.

    12:20 C is the correct answer. The Red Ensign is a Royal Navy flag, it was used by the Royal Navy for over a century before Merchants started using it as well.

    The question was, " The Red Ensign IS the flag of...." Not the Red Ensign WAS the flag of...." the Royal Navy retired the Red Ensign from service in 1707.
