She had untreated schizophrenia and a bottle of vodka in her car. She was most likely dealing with a psychotic episode when she crashed. Which means she would have been out of touch with reality in that moment. Think of women who get psychosis and then God tells them to kill their children. When they come back to, they don’t realize what just happened, only to learn that they themselves killed their children. This is most likely what Anne Heche was experiencing. Moments before she had almost hit a pedestrian and then almost caused a crash driving across a street.

This was a set up and a sacrifice.

Anne Hache was fabulous.... Yes she had her issues but when she took Ellen as her date back then Yes it was a hero statement..... We were hated and attacked from all sides at that time..... Hello what am I talking about we are still hated today. Just yesterday a lady started an argument with me in froogles and as she was walking off she called me an effing f####t..... So you need to learn what you're talking about.... It took a lot of nerve to bring Ellen to that premier......
