Sending healing vibes to Mfowethu. It is amazing how the Wildebeest can sense he is not a threat atm. He is an absolutely beautiful lion and hopefully will meet up with his brothers and/or pride in the near future

Hard to say. Lots of food obviously but how efficient are his mates? I've seen very few instances where Lions share their food even with family members.@@walterhofer937

Let's not bury him yet... I know, he has been in worse condition many times, but he has ALWAYS returned to normal condition. Such a small limp does not stop him, not even his ribs are visible. He doesn't live in this area, but the male One Salas almost jumps around, he is so lame and he hasn't given up even after almost two years.

Other animals are like ''He wants to be our friend''😂

All of those meals walking by and he can't do anything about it.

I think he'll gradually get back to his pride where he can get some food. Then he'll heal in a hurry.

The Vendas have got a saying that leopard and lion grow old being able to fight. Maybe they never experienced this heartache.

@@falanajerido875 I would say he isn't young and had a ruff life its hard to say but honestly my opinion is it was a tooth because of the way his face swelled, it could be still giving him a fit. Stop and think when your tooth hurts it comes and goes. Unless it's real bad and abscesses, idk how lions teeth are but I know my cats that are older have chipped some so, and I'm sure he has some broken at his age.

Lions are amazingly resilient. Hopefully he recovers.

If there’s a way to help and rehabilitate him, please do!

It took a while for the first Zebra to notice the lion than the 2nd Zebra who noticed him immediately 🤔!

I just hope that while he is still alive he won't be eaten alive by hyenas.
