I went to the beach on the 4th of July thinking that the world had changed and that everyone would be sitting at home looking at their cell phones rather than getting out into the world. I even made the comment to my girlfriend and she said, "How sad!" However, once there and looking for a place to park, I realized that people were still getting out into the world! It would be a fun day!
The Song: I wrote the song and spent hours working on a production with it (I use Suno AI and Logic Pro), then after so many hours I left the computer and sat back to clear my mind and listen. I was a bit disappointed with the results, so I started over again. I modified the lyrics a little bit and created an entirely new song with a male singer rather than the previous female singer. Also, the new song has a bit of a country/blues/rock feeling to it rather than a "pop" feeling. This time I think I got it right!
