Wheelies Made SIMPLE - 3 Easy Steps!!

Спорт

Whether want to learn the wheelie to impress your friends or just get the front wheel up & over rocks or roots on the trail, after watching this video you'll have better wheelies in one session!
For years doing wheelies seemed impossible to me, even though I could manual as far as I wanted to...after spending some time watching people who were really good at this skill I realized I was approaching it all wrong! I was forcing my body weight around, not using leverage in my crank arms, or using my brakes to help lock manage the balance point. In this video we cover common mistakes to avoid while we deconstruct the wheelie so it's easy to understand, the skills are straightforward to apply, & practice!
Although mastering the wheelie takes a fair bit of practice, applying the fundamentals we cover in this tutorial will take this skill from feeling out of reach, or downright impossible to approachable, practicable, & before you know it you'll be rollin' down the street on the rear wheel with ease.
What's your goal wheelie length?! Happy Practicing amigos!
-Mike

Dream bike is old school BMX. CW Phaze 1, Hutch Pro Raider, Mongoose Supergoose - just about anything in the 44-16 camp. Currently building a 1985 Mongoose Californian because I had one in the early 1980s. Just waiting on the bars to arrive!

so satisfied that you brought up the fact that chase's last name sounds like wheelie. all these skills videos are making it hard for me to pick what to work on! yet here i am saying i'd love to see your approach to faster cornering, especially in berms. my local pump track has a long berm with a bend the opposite direction in the middle that's eating all my speed -- throws me out and i don't know how to get back in for the second half. for a dream bike i mostly dream of picking out and buying all the components separately and building it up myself.

A BMX bike is the move in my opinion - it's a more humbling platform but if you take it slow the skills you'll develop there translate to all bikes so well & quick.
