♿️ WHEELCHAIR MUM | HOW I TRANSFER WITH BABY, BATH AND FEED

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

IM SHOWING YOU HOW I CARED FOR MY 9 MONTH OLD NEICE. IN THIS VLOG IM SHOWING YOU HOW I FEED, BATH, AND TRANSFER WITH THE BABY.
Being a mum is hard, being a disabled mum is really hard!!! I wanted to create this vlog to give you an idea of how i look after a baby in my wheelchair. I have a lot of help from my husband, and do wonder if I could do this on my own, ( I think it would be very tough!) But as you can see anything is possible when you put your mind to it, and where there is a will there is away. I find the best thing to do is get on the floor and crawl around with them!!! (if your able to!)
After suffering my spinal cord injury i have really had to adapt in life. So Im sowing you my disability lifestyle to raise disability awareness. as a disabled woman and a woman in a wheelchair who is paralysed, I thought it would be interesting for you to see, and hopefully give you some inspiration and motivation so that you can live more independently. wether you are paraplegic or quadriplegic i hope that i can help you.
i have lots of interesting disability videos, a lot of videos on how to cope with a disability and living life in a wheelchair, wether you are a girl boy woman or man. i have some paraplegic exercise videos, and advice. its important to keep your fitness levels up as much as possible as this can when physically and mentally with depression.

Such an informative video. My nieces are 7 months and 4 years so it's very useful. It's proved the point that disability is no barrier to babysitting ability.

This helps because my mom wanted to start babysitting she gets out of the physical therapy center. I wanted to see the different technique. Thanks for giving me peace of mind that this is possible

What a great video. It reminded me of “Through the Round Window” which was part of one of my favourite programmes as a child, Play School. The “fun” you had picking Raven up, reminded me when I saw a mum in a wheelchair pick up her baby using a large cotton handle sewn in to the baby’s Babygro. I thought it was ingenious. Looking forward to more; “Through the Round Window” adventures.

Awesome video 👍🏼 she is such a cute baby, like mostly every baby is. Funny how she gets so excited about her mealtime, and jumping up and down in her chair, if you are not quick enough 😀 all my nieces and nephews are not good eaters at all, so seeing her eating so fast is quite new for me. One of my nieces is one and two months old and she is always so sleepy. So sleeping through at night has never been an issue, but she also wants to sleep during daytime, and that more than once. So you sometimes have to do really exciting stuff with her, so she doesn’t fall asleep after breakfast for example. And if you are not watching her all the time, you can find her sitting somewhere with her thumb inside her mouth and sleeping 😀 which looks so cute, but if she falls asleep to often, she doesn’t want to sleep at the regular bedtime, which can be quite tricky. I would love to see, if possible, how you are taking a walk with her. You said in your toddler video, that you become her buggy. Would you use a carrier or a special blanket to secure her on your lap? Wishing you a special time with your little guest and hopefully enough sleep for you and your husband. And as always enough spoons 🍀Katy

Awww they sound so cute. Thank you for your comment. Yes I’ll make a vidoe at some point showing how I take her out. We have vlog part 2 up on Sunday but we all went out as a family. So they all helped. But I’ll try a solo outing. Xx

I scoot around all the time it's so convenient so long as the floor isn't wet. Not very nice while outside, I can't really crawl yet from my knee surgery a year ago.

I have just moved schools but now I am finding it two hard and I have seen another school I want it might sound ridiculous but I don’t know I find friendships so so hard and I am very difficult to let’s say cater for I run away a lot and I need a room to go to when I am angry or upset and schools have to get use to me because I am very hard to be around.
