In this video I talk about how I pick my young infant up, change her diaper and bottle feed her using techniques adapted for my lack of core stability.

She's beautiful. You seem to have figured things out that work for you and as her mobility progresses you alter things some. Great job! I've mentioned this before that I'm a Paraplegic T 4/5 complete and had my baby 21 yrs ago. OverAlls saved me during playtime for my baby on the floor. I'd just grab the strap from behind my daughter and lift and scoop her up onto my lap. As she gained weight it wasn't always easy but I did it. I found it easier for diaper changes on the side of my bed. It's softer and I had more time to grab her when she started to roll. Enjoy these moments with your baby girl for her 1st birthday will be here before you know it. Congratulations again to you and your wife.

You basically ARE me! With the concerns about compromised stability due to rubbish core muscles, exacerbated by having something in my arms... especially when the something in my arms is the most precious thing I will have ever held! Thank you for your videos, providing practical help and guidance, while at the same time, reassurance that babies are SO resilient! Seriously the times you have done something that I would have been convinced would've jolted her awake and had her screaming;.... and she just doesn't! You have no idea how much better that makes me feel! Thank you again!.... best wishes,...someone accross the pond who you don't even know who is going to be an Aunty!..... potentially TODAYYYYY!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!
