Very cool video, Jason. I'll keep this in mind. Usually I'll put shims in place to take out the slack, but that can make wheels stick out weird.

I've never done a wheel swap. This was very informative. I bought some loose castings a while back and a Camaro I got had a wheel swap on it. Ugly wheels on it, too. A swap is due. The crimping method is a great idea. Thanks 👍

Yeah, you don't need much to adjust the length. Plus if there are wheels you like but the axles are too short, swap out axles and just crimp them like here

Correction, the chassis says " Heavy Chevy" not Hugger. It's metal body and base with 1969 and China, plus the HW flame on it. The grill is black plastic and part of the interior tub.

Good to see, you use those pliers. I've seen others, use fence pliers. 👍

Only problem with crimping it like that is you can’t paint your wheel hubs a different color. I like those three-piece axles because the little pin you can paint any color. 😁🚗🛞
