I think the data at least partly comes from one of the biggest WoT FB groups. I remember Amazon officially asking in a post, i think before season 1, which scenes we really wanted to see. I left the group shortly after season 1 because of the vitriol and hate, so I haven't seen those official posts since, but it did happen.

I'm with Brian on Andor. Yeah, Andor and Caemlyn have a special place in my heart, but there are definitely more interesting places.

He lit the pipe just so that we, as readers, would know that there is magic outside of the framework of WoT magic. Like in real life, for example. Imo he was telling us to pursue magic, that magic might be real. I think he was tickling us with the fact that pyrokinesis might be closer to fact, than to fiction. Channeling the one power is def real, and you def can feel it irl if you follow his examples in the book, for example the square breathing technique taught to Moraine in the prequel book. Call it reiki love call it the holy Spirit, whatever you call it, you can actually feel it flooding in and washing over the body like a torrent, just like he describes in the books. Channeling the one power is very real, irl, 100%

WOW, just finished the WoT audiobooks, and I gotta say, the casting for the TV series is SO terrible, I think the Creator is prob rolling over in his grave. Literally I'm unsubscribing from the Dusty Wheel just so I don't have to scroll thru and see the images of these actors' faces, preposterously linked to the characters who are so ill represented by them. I'd rather remember the characters as I imagined them, than to have their memory tarnished by this second rate cast. I always wondered how they might represent the women of the Wheel of Time, I knew it would be hard to find such beautiful actresses that would do them justice, by I'm gonna call this an epic fail 100%. It's like they didn't even try, and from what I see of the actors portraying the male characters, this is just a flat out disgrace. I wish Robert Jordan was alive, for a lot of reasons, but most especially this, he would not have allowed such butchery to be inflicted on his life's work. Two thumbs down

@@gutzumerken36 to each their own, maybe I'll change my mind one day, but after going thru the series as Robert Jordan wrote it, his characters are all very dear to me and I have to protect their memory in my minds eye here, even scrolling thru threatened to corrupt who they really were based on the creators words. I don't want these false images clouding the memory of who these people really were, Matt, Rand, Naineve, Egwene, etc. Maybe it's unrealistic to expect a legitimate casting in today's world, yes I almost started from book one again after going thru the prequel, last thing I need is for false images to corrupt the experience when I undertake that journey again. Yes I'll opt for the pure Robert Jordan experience again any day of the week
